Today i get to draw dragon :)
Illustration of a witch named Cori on the left and Nox, an owl familiar, on the right.
The two main characters from the short comic I'm working on (Cori's Quest).
A digital watercolor painting of Mt. Adams/Pahto half covered by white clouds the same color as the paper. A delicate forest of conifers rolls toward the viewer, disappearing into the shadows of trees, and the sharply lit douglas firs in the foreground. Based on a photograph I took in Washington on the Pacific Crest Trail in 2024, on the shared lands of the Cowlitz, Klickitat, Confederated Tribes of Siletz Indians, Cayuse, Umatilla and Walla Walla tribes.

A single comic panel of a witch standing in an apartment which is a mess with art supplies. There is an easel with a painting on it and a purple cat sitting on the floor. The witch has an owl sleeping on her shoulder and a bag and witch hat on the floor.
What's this, what's this? Oh... just a panel from a comic I'm working on called Cori's Quest :)

A landscape page with a pale green background and two illustrations of Ginkgo on it. On the left is an inaccurate one with leaves coming directly from a branch. On the right is an accurate one with clusters extending from short shoots.
I, too, would like to have a go at the new Spinosaurus soon, but in the meantime:
Here's a slide from my recent talk, which covers the DOs and DON'Ts of restoring ginkgoes within palaeoart!
Enjoy! #Ginkgo #FossilFriday #paleobotany #paleoart #SciComm
Text reads "Julie and Knack bought a riso, so now we need help buying some more ink drums" with a drawing of both artists holding up the risograph.
A pink and black risograph photograph.
@whittledraws.bsky.social and I bought a #risograph machine as a kind of spur of the moment thing! Now we just have to get the different ink drums to really get it running, which is where you come in! Check out our #kickstarter in order to get some magical fundraising prints! Link below.
Another portrait, this time of my fav bean.

New artwork for the graphic novel Hex Me Again chapter 1: Must be in want of a partner. It features three female characters from left to right: Lotte Grogo, Luna Moonfall, and her sister, Celeste Moonfall.
Celebrating Jane Austen's 250th birthday with the relaunch of my graphic novel "Hex Me Again!" It's an adaptation of her well-loved story, "Pride and Prejudice," mixed with one of my deepest loves- monsters. It was inspired by my thought, "Hey, Mr. Collins is like Nosferatu slinking around Meryton."
working on a new zine......
First bird I saw this year was a house wren!
A digitally drawn, four panel grayscale comic. Panel 1: Alex sits in the library breakroom, looking at her phone. Caption: on my work break “Alright, lessee what’s going on in the world—“ Panel 2: Fire and screams come out of Alex’s phone, engulfing her face. SFX: FWOOM Panel 3: Alex stares wide-eyed and charred, with hair blown back, in a similar framing to the previous panel, as smoke comes out her phone. SFX: BLINK BLINK Panel 4: Alex is back a to working the front desk, scanning a book, but her hair is still blown back and she looks weary-eyed. “Have a good day…” Caption: How am I supposed to keep working like all of this is normal?
