Today’s ink is Antler, and it’s a pigment ink, and I really love the tone of this warm reddish brown. It’s so cozy, and I love it even more matched up with this Wildflower pen.

Day 23 is Let It Snow and it’s a frosty blue (leaning turquoise) with bright silver shimmer. I’m not jumping for joy, but it is really lovely, and I dig the icy vibes when paired up with the White Beach Benu Euphoria.

Day 22 is Pineapple Spritz, a pigment shimmery yellow gold. I dig it specifically for the pen I’ve matched it with here. It seems pretty legible, but I definitely want to give it a spin before I claim as much.

Hello Day 19, Hello Overcast. I was expecting a gray (which I’m ready for, Diamine!) but instead we get a cloudy blue with some lovely pinkish undertones. It’s a beauty.

Day 15 is a shimmering blue Frostbite. It’s fiiiine, I say. It’s a beauty, but I think it just takes a little more for a blue ink to get me jumping up out of my seat.

Day 14 is Mittens and are we smitten, kitten? 😌 - It’s a legible, bubblegum pigment pink that I can get on board with for sure! And it seems to behave quite well for a pigment ink. Solid entry.

Definitely was surprising as it dried down!

Today is Molten Basalt and this is an interesting blue black (and I don’t say that that often about blue blacks). It’s giving Sailor Gakoro vibes, and I definitely want to try it on all the papers.

Another pigment ink today for Day 11 called Brrr! - but this one has shimmer - and I definitely can rock with this one more than Carousel. Even though it too is a little flat, I find it has a bit more personality and variation.

Today’s ink is beautiful - and it’s called Nostalgia. This one looks more brown in my ink journal but definitely has some more plum tones here. The chameleon shimmer is really lovely too.

Day 9 is Bittersweet, a refreshing minty turquoise-y green, and I quite like this one. It reminds me slightly of Mint Twist from last year’s calendar but without the shimmer. I like it!

Day 8: Dreamcatcher, our first “extreme sheen.” I’m honestly not vibing with this one AS much (though.. the swatch was a fun one). I just think it falls a bit flat in a world of blue inks with red sheen.

Day 7 is Blush. It’s a standard shading ink, that’s coming across a lot more dusty-looking in writing v. the swatch (which I love quite a bit more than the more vibrant tone the swatch is picking up). What do we think?

Day 5: Marie Rose and what a weird one (which is fine - I actually love weird colors)! I wasn’t sure what color it was going to be based on the label, but it’s an orangey coral (?) that definitely looks more orange when paired up with the Esterbrook Rocky Top.

And we’re back with a beauty with a scent. Day 4 is Smoky Tobacco and the scent is giving tall, dark, and handsome (👀). I love that it seems to be a well-behaved scented ink; I got no hint of feathering or heavy bleeding here!

Really digging day 2 of the Diamine Inkvent Calendar- this is Energy.. and though we’ve seen this purple/green sheen combo lots of times, I feel like there’s something fresh with this take (it may be that the sheen seems more matte? 🤔 hmm)- what do we think?
