Just finished The Mystery Knight again. My favourite I think, love Duncan in this one and our only real look at Bloodraven before he became a tree. Love Mr the Tall. Glendon Ball unhorsing Daemon was good, Glendon is my favourite non D&E character in this one, followed by Baemon. #ASOIAF

I try not to get too sad, but sometimes I think about the state of the world and how bad things are and how much worse they can get and I find it very hard not to cry. It makes me feel sick, disgusted by the pain this government is gleefully complicit in. I have to believe things can get better-

-the changes, namely the Maekar one, but if it gets him to show up again I'm good with it. I don't like the blatantly showing that Dunk was never knighted, I think it works better if its all just left implied. Fantastic show, I hate I have to wait another year for more.

Watched the last episode of #AKOTSK and a good damn way to wrap up the season. Peter Claffey is a fantastic actor, he really just nailed everything this whole show. I loved Raymun, Maekar and God it was just good. This final shot is maybe my favourite from any of the ASOIAF shows. I don't like all-

-fitting that an act like that inspires Duncan, that to him it doesn't matter if you aren't perfect, if you're not from the pages of a story, that it only matters what you do when the time comes. Good show.

-than ideal Arlan was as a knight, that he is still the ideal of one for Duncan. I love that he can be this dumb drunk and rude and a bit callou and none of it matters, because when he saw a young boy in danger he didn't hesitate for a moment to lay his life on the line to defend him. It feels so-

The ending of episode 4 of #AKOTSK had me tearing up. Duncan's appeal, Baelors entrance, the theme turning into the GoT one. This show is so fucking good.

That shit was good. I love that it opens with Egg and just focusing on him, given the novel doesn't do that. The first half was just vibes, I love how Dunk looks so offended when they talk about the fucking fraud to him.

Really enjoying Elaynes chapters in WoT book 11 so far. The opening of defending Camelyns walls, the tension between her and Birgitte. Just the way she loses her shit and screams in the halls. She's unravelling and I feel so bad for her! Get better soon Elayne!

Moiraine has been "dead" for so many books now, I was almost giving up hope on my theory that she was still alive. That letter to Thom though. Moiraine FC we back up.

Reading book 11 of The Wheel of Time. At the end of chapter 9 when Tuon put the A'dam on the Aes Sedai, it honestly kinda made me sick. I felt very bad for them, very much hope Miss Tuon doesn't do that again, good on Matt for standing on the simple principle of being anti-slavery.

#AKOTSK second episode was really good, very entertaining. Fucking funny as hell too. I like what they've been adding and the changes they've made so far, especially with so much dialogue coming right from the book. Bloody good.

Played like 6 hours, had a blast. I find myself more charmed by Gale than I've ever been before honestly.
