Have you watched the WFM Show's intro to our succession save yet? Now's the time if not - we're deep into our second season, and @invwingbacks.bsky.social are @alicemcnamara.bsky.social are back to streaming!

It's a trip down memory lane and into outer space with our guest FMLlama as the crew break down our favorite retro football management games and what lessons can be taken from them in the future. Or, well, three of us reminisce, & I talk a lot about The Sims.

It's two quizzes this month, and this time Alice is hosting - and possibly making up the rules as she goes! Check out the newest episode of the WFM Show!
We are delighted to confirm that Pascal Gross has returned to the club for undisclosed terms on a contract until June 2027! π€
A new year's treat for y'all: the FM Show and WFM Show cross over for a Big Fat Football Manager Quiz of the Year (and the WFM crew more than holds our own π)
Developing a recent interest in those oddly parasocial 'footballers arriving at the training ground' videos, but specifically only to check which of them actually use a turn signal and which do not. Shoutout to JoΕ‘ko Gvardiol and RΓΊben Dias, conscientious turn-signalers that you are.
As things stand now, the NWSL isnβt fighting for Trinity Rodman. Itβs fighting against her, and shadowboxing with its own potential in the process.

In which the WFM squad revisits FM 26 after major updates and also argues about potato ricers, turkey twizzlers, and nog-adjacent beverages. Is this a Football Manager podcast still?
The team is whole again and talk about what the narrative of a save means to them.
They also share their save ideas for FM26! Alice apologies' in advance... you'll know what she means...

Football Manager 26 is the ultimate roleplaying game.
Watch @anklelee.bsky.social as Welsh bog-man Cleddon Boggs who recently crawled out of a nearby mire after 100 years and installed himself as manager of Hereford United Football Club.

That being said - I do end up watching games with Arsenal supporters more often than not as they're the most active supporters club around here, so plenty of respect there! Brighton's come a long way from the Goldstone, very cool that you've seen a part of that history. π
Hey Mike! I've followed my local club in the states for as long as it's existed (spoilers: not very long π), but I only started following the Premier League a few years ago. I wanted a club that was small but ambitious, well-run, inclusive - hence Brighton. And I adore the city and its vibes.
And are vibes the thing that matter most? Probably not to most players. But do those little touches humanize your squad and build your investment in their story? Absolutely.
FM 26 wants to be streamlined and accessible but sacrifices personality to get there. Take the new dressing room - you get a slick interface that mirrors other menus in the game, but lose the immersive vibe of a crowd of players arranged around you while you wave your arms and throw a water bottle.
Initial FM 26 thoughts: hype, panic, being dizzyingly overwhelmed by the new AI and understanding immediately why we were warned that there'd be a learning curve for returning players.
