I really needed to read @aworkinglibrary.com’s thoughts on finding our way out of workslop; maybe you needed to read them, too. everythingchanges.us/blog/mouthwo...
Thank you for these -- I enjoyed looking them all up, adjusting my TBR list as needed.
I talk about my list of possible titles and why I'm not deleting it. The take away is that you deserve to take your work seriously.
my solo exhibition Memories, Maps, Reflections at ll Museo in the Italian Cultural Centre Vancouver BC opening April 16. Embroidered maps from over the decades Show runs April 16-May 24.
What I dig about collage is how there is room for everyone to have their own style.
What I especially love is when someone comes to one of my sessions, creates a collage for possibly the first time ever, and it's not even remotely similar to anyone else's.
It's the absolute best.

I’m thinking through what I want to tell you about the work I’ve got up at Lynn Hanson Gallery. Come by this Saturday afternoon to hear what I come up with. See you in the blue nook!
The gallery is at 312 S Washington, and open 11-4 Friday & Saturday. The reception is 2-4 Saturday.
Post a pic you took, no context, to bring some zen to the feed.

One more week until #FirstThursday in #Seattle. I’m reviewing all the layers, thought, and process that went into these new pieces, and looking forward to sharing them if you can stop by. Details: Thu, Mar 5, 5-8 pm at Lynn Hanson Gallery, 312 S Washington St, Seattle in #PioneerSquare.

Two weeks from now, I’m excited to be debuting some of my latest pieces at Lynn Hanson Gallery in Seattle. Three gallery artists (me, Eliza Brown, and Lynn Hanson) united by a calm colour palette in "Quiet Voices".

Apple wants me to update my tablet so I have to make full use of “Apple Intelligence”, which they brag, no, Threaten, is everywhere. Can anyone point me towards how to turn it off?
So good -- thank you!

Oh, so good, thank you! Working on what this means to me -- gonna let it sit & simmer a bit.
Oh, hey, I’m offering a collage workshop in Everett (WA) in January. Last time I did this, someone called it “new aged twaddle” but then admitted it was quite accurate for them despite not wanting it to be. I don’t know if that’s a ringing endorsement or not but the discussion time is quite fun!
