I’m trying to help them understand I’m not looking for polish. I’m looking for their original thoughts. I want to see and hear what they think!

Second part of Brett's response: Marcus L uses a student exemplar wall to celebrate student words, and you could certainly include less polished, more human, quirky examples on your wall to do this. It’s something I’ve tried and found success with, though I’ve never done one on the scale of what Marcus creates. Would this help celebrate our quirky, imperfect, human voices?
