I have that deep, visceral feeling that something is very wrong. I can tell it's not right and it really upsets me that it's there. It's the loneliest, being in a place where I can't speak. I really don't know what to do.
I have no mouth and I must scream.
My cat is really special.
After the last 5 years, it's been tough to return to craft. When I'm in the right head space, I try and make something.

Whitby was amazing!
It's that time of year where I remember I look like this gentleman.
Been trying to learn bark weaving as an alternative craft while I'm in the house. As someone who's been doing green woodworking and metal working for 15 years, I'm being utterly humbled by this craft. I'll continue to learn but it's so difficult!
Some recent makings.
Picked up this tenon cutter for £19 - it's old and needed work on the cutting edge but it works!
Made some flowers.
“I'd hate to die twice. It's so boring.”
Did a 5k hike this morning - saw an abandoned water treatment works, woodland and wet meadows. Didn't see a soul and was very peaceful. Will definitely be doing it again!
Went to the bodgers ball (just for the day). It's been a while since I did any turning - I ended up joining the log to leg race with Lee and Mike (we came third). It was nice dropping in seeing old friends.
Old forged ring - I only made one for someone (wish I'd made myself one).
The Legend of St Kenelm
Red-headed cardinal beetle
Last of the elm. Been sat in a cupboard for 3 years.
Carved a ghost out of walnut. It's hard to see the detail in the grain but it's great to feel and hold. I'll certainly do more of these when I get different woods.
Caught up with my mentor today and did a bit of turning.
Made a walnut rack for the treen I've made. Just need a place to hang it.
