And artists, one thing you can do to help people identify you are actually doing the work is to post WIP. I think this is especially important if you're a digital artist. But it's a good idea for all. No AI fanboi is going to create WIP because that would be work. And they want to not do any.
You know what's more exhausting than writing the book or fighting to be creative?
The burnout that comes with not doing what you love.
Fight for your art and just do the damn thing. ✍️

This is true. I once accepted improv classes as payment for book cover and layout work. Those skills turned out useful, and the classes were fun!

It would be great to get back more into painting again. The last couple of months were a headache of planning and paperwork for this move. That said, all my art supplies aside from 2 palettes and 3 small watercolor books are currently in a shipping container on the South China Sea probably. Scary
