Check nearby bushes. I found out that my neighbor ordered a ton of vaginal anti-itch cream, which the porch pirate apparently quickly decided had no resell value.

Bonnie Francoise, a portly tabby cat, nestles between a window and a cat tree with her back paws neatly resting on a pillow that looks like toast.
Here’s to Bonnie for making the best of #caturday
Definitely beats “excursion” –the year is just beginning to settle in so I’m sure more gems will pop up.
A doubtful guest sneaking about (in scarf and sneakers, of course)
I have long known that women’s clothing was limiting for all body sizes, but @puddingviz.bsky.social spells out how messed up it is and pervasive from tweendom onward: pudding.cool/2026/02/wome...
h/t to @pbump.com for my favorite Saturday morning read covering charts and way more!

So senseless and heartbreaking.
That guy that choked Elmo.
That is his shoe now! Hopefully you will get him three more to complete the set.
This is how they organize; watch out as they demand more of everything.
I often think about Dear Science and Other Stories by Katherine McKittrick. She works through black and anticolonialial methodologies in academia with curiosity and playfulness. She encourages you to read the chapters out of order. Plus there is a soundtrack. 🥁🎶
Paro! I really wanted those seals to be the future, or at least be available at the retirement home I land at, but the cost makes it prohibitive. As you noted, AI is so far from the notion of care and just about the moneymaking no matter the cost to folks outside of their cozy tech bubble.
Like the mother ignoring that her partner is abusing her child. She is caught up in the world of the abuser and lets the unacceptable pass and pretends it isn’t happening or that bad. And even when a mirror is held up, will claim they couldn’t do anything or blames the child.
Lots of freemason and fraternal orders aka secret societies offered insurance to members. I wonder if that is the case here. Freemasons were often associated with crafts like stone mason or woodworking, so buildings played a role in those groups. And they liked to party, so ballrooms were a must.
I treat it like The Onion, albeit that rag is way better, and get a few laughs out of Classen’s ongoing rage about whatever. Never disappoints in how bad the takes are. Granted the writing makes it difficult to make it through Allen’s precious thoughts.
Wow! Velva G. Darling, the modern girl philosopher, going deep with that question.
A beagle riding in the front of a bike cart that has a protest sign on the side. The sign says “BEAGLES AGAINST FASCISTS!” and is decorated with images of Snoopy, that famous beagle, expressing anger and his bird friend Woodstock flitting about.
A small white dog that is watching protesters stream by on the Hawthorne Bridge. The dog wears a sweatshirt with the words “FUCK TRUMP” handwritten on the back.
A very fluffy dog with its pink tongue showing sits in a red wagon along with supplies for protesters-mutual aid is important. A sign is popping out of the back of the cart. It reads “BITCHES DON’T KNEEL”.
A white maltipoo with dyed neon pink ears and tail graces a sign that says “MALTIPOOS AGAINST TRUMP”.
A few more good dogs speaking up:
A white dog with tan markings is briskly walking with purpose. He sports a sign that says “DOGS AGAINST D.O.G.E”.
A golden retriever smiles while wearing a sign that says “Send TREATS, not TROOPS”. It is signed with a paw print. Not shown is the other side of the sign, where the dogs tells Kristi Noem to back off.
A golden shepherd peacefully sits with a sign that says “If you have to ask “Is my president a pedophile?” it’s probably not a good sign”.
Late with this assignment, but here are some brave pups that joined the no kings protest in Portland, OR.
Bonnie, a chubby tabby cat, wearing sparkly bat wings and giving a stink eye.
Beatrix, a long haired orange and white cat, looks seductively at the camera with her face partially obscured by sparkly bat wings.

My college was a haven for weirdos. The philosophy prof asking when we should start class. An early medieval art teacher gushing over fragments for weeks. A Frenchy finding codes in surrealist poetry. The history prof rocking a very 90s haircut to this day. And the linguist kicked out of Radiohead.

Another good contender for #FridayNightZillow for @steventdennis.bsky.social -a floating mansion called the Aqua Star: www.zillow.com/homedetails/...
For sure. It builds on the old trope of “they are coming for our jobs” and deep roots of racism. The propaganda provides a nudge, a confirmation of beliefs and builds on fears of the other.
The propaganda that they have been feed worked. They really believe the U.S. is being invaded by thousands of criminals released from jails in other countries. Gangs are pouring through open borders. Despite that many immigrants are their neighbors, peacefully contributing to their communities.
An orange and white cat poses with her tailed slightly curled around her. She is on a pillow that looks like a piece of bread. There is a window behind her. She has an intense stare.

The eels make it extra lovely!
Also some taxpayers believe their tax dollars pay for it all. Collectively yes, not individually. They come into my work—a library—and think that the $38 from their property taxes pays for endless printing, databases (those aren’t cheap), keeping the lights on and our labor. The disconnect is wild.
Brings back not so fond memories of the Bush administration declaring that they were an empire and thus will define and redefine reality as they please. 🙃
Just one of those mistakes that Elon mention would happen. No biggie. 🤷♂️
Reminds me of when I was lamenting about the lack of green spaces in Chicago, my friend that grew up there promptly told me that I just need to get a second home in Michigan. Blank stares back at her as I thought about how I was scrambling to pay rent that month.
