The pickle on the Chicago dog just gets in the way.

Sincerely… NASA couldn’t have chosen a better team of people for this mission. They have been a bright light in the shadowy time here. It’s been a joy to watch.

“why didn’t you just”
[developer explains complicated 36 dimensional interlocking problem space where your solution cascades into four other issues with equally complicated details, any of which when solved, reintroduces the original problem in a new and unique way]
“ah yeah. fuck that. ship it.”
a large pizza in a box. it has pepperoni, sausage, jalapeños, garlic, and goat cheese
my idea of meal prepping is getting the big pizza
i know its every first tuesday of the month, just awful timing
this morning sure was a choice morning for Chicago to test its city wide emergency sirens
Screenshot of Silvermoon in World of Warcraft. Featured directly in front is a large golden harp with magical blue strings. Silvermoon is made up predominately of marble stone, gold, and red fabrics. It's a beautiful Elven city.
One of my favorite places to idle in Silvermoon. Sometimes I'll just listen to the harp while reading news/socials between doing things. It's a vibe. I like to idle places in-game while working, too. Always on the lookout for good spots. #warcraft
Hey, College for Creative Studies represent! Awesome seeing someone from my hometown area of SE Michigan win. I knew quite a few people who went to CCS when I was college aged (definitely not a long time ago... :|) There's so much talent there! Love seeing the entries for this contest ever year.
“How often does the train go by?”
“So often that you won’t even notice it.”
Photo of grant park, in the distance there’s a sidewalk with a humongous impassable water puddle. A single Seagull stands by.
All Chicagoans know when you say The Lake you’re referring to the giant impassable puddles that form in Grant Park after a rain.

I'm not sure when this changed, but I just found out that Parsec supports 5120x1440 now. Literally life changing.
I’m so down for a little bit of science optimism
Hell yeah, space.
You scored 22% That puts you in the "not a tech bro" range.
[pushes up glasses] "Actually... society, civilization, laws, and governance are 'technology' and so yes our problems can be solved by 'technology'"
Fun test! I had a few quibbles, wished I could say "don't know / not sure" for some
But I love a good online personality test so I'm here for it
seems like its only embedded videos, and on the bottom right is a youtube logo now and a MORE VIDEOS button, presumably thats what they desperately needed to add
youtube changed its player layout again, im assuming just to prank me
guys you can just be done with things! you did it! the player was done! you dont need to keep changing it!
if you're wondering, the audio/resolution controls are now top right instead of bottom right... for... reasons?
reminder: today is the last day you can get a ps5/ps5 pro or playstation portal for pre-depression prices.
its impressive what some paint will do, i have the plain black version of this control and its not even remotely as cool.
lmao, love the idea of recycle guy
that said, recycling in chicago is so abysmal. im like 99% sure my condo just dumps our recycling straight into the garbage. does that stop us from sorting it and breaking down boxes? nope, but it sucks.
oh, and we have absolutely no good compost pickup option.
curious if this makes any sense at all. “can’t be explained must be experienced” but make it video game.
closest i can think of is something like a super hexagon, or thumper, but those would at least be explainable.
i’m thinking of that one specific moment that happens in learning when your fingers finally perform something but you’re riding a tightrope and the moment you think about it you fall off
late night posting my absurd concept.
i’ve always wondered what a game could be like if the rules were not concrete or rooted in plainly obvious real world analogues.
like, something that somehow you can perform in a flow state while not fully understanding the rules you’ve internalized
