Under the Public Processions (NI) Act 1998, N. Ireland has the Parades Commission which regulates public processions and protests. This fascist rally was given the go ahead despite the town’s businesses saying they would have to send black & migrant workers home for their own safety. [1/n]
In an email to customers, Amazon announced that it would be ending service for Kindle devices older than the 2012 edition. Those devices will lose access to the Kindle Store. www.wired.com/story/amazon...

They've also created a Gealltanas Logainmneacha "to encourage individuals and groups to use Irish-only placenames" #SpéirGhorm
The Daily Mail poll about whether the UK should re-join the European Union did not go according to plan.
Everyday I check whether the fuel protesters have finally set up outside Doonbeg & everyday I see that no, they've quite interestingly not included the man directly responsible for this fuel crisis in their protests. Hmm.
Please be conscious that there are petitions going around that may appear to be calling for something you want, but for very different reasons than yours.

Loads of confused Americans getting off the bus at Parnell square from the airport and just heard one
‘Wow. They just park their tractors wherever they like in eyerland’

Unfortunately that happened before they left
the side of a Dublin Bus. the advertisement reads "Full-time or part-time driver? G'wan, you pick!"
I can't be the first person to have read this and thought that Dublin Bus is trying to encourage job applications by saying "G'wan you prick"
When Trump was first elected, I got that same, deeply uncomfortable feeling I
got around that boss. But this time I couldn't move jobs to get away
He wasn't the smartest. People made jokes about that. But I never felt that hecwas completely devoid of empathy and humanity. Weirdly, I had a boss like Trump when I was in my early twenties. Narcissistic, predatory and mercenary. Would throw young people under the bus to save his own skin.
I don't think Reagan was anything like the malignant narcissist that Trump is and what's more worrying is that Trump seems to be surrounded by a bunch of self-serving ninnies who cannot see beyond the borders of the USA. They could not GAF if we were all obliterated.
I was in secondary school in the Reagan years. My geography teacher said that all it took for a nuclear war was to have a nutter in the White House and a nutter in Russia ( or the USSR) "and we have the nutter in The White House". Gorbachev was actually quite sane and Reagan was a bit soft.
That's not so much pedantry as education.

I'm sure the thousands who can't afford to pay their rent or fuel bills will be delighted to see where Government priorities lie.

The list of banned books here is jaw-dropping.
The cover of the magazine, The Economist, with the headline 'Operation Blind Fury'. It shows Trump with his mouth open, obviously saying something, but the top half of his face, including his eyes, is covered by a Vietnam-era US soldier's helmet, turned backwards, with some bullets in the band, right where his eyes would be.
The Economist nails it with this image.
At the post-break-up stage of driving around playing "Lost on You" by LP and weeping.

I will have to make my way there at some point.
Where is this fancy cinema?
Yes! He gives me the absolute rage. Especially when he constantly has his nose up Trump's arse.
If it isn't spring, explain snowdrops!
I did that once! I cried and then got out the oxo cubes.
