I pretty much rediscovered Tiny Toons and Animaniacs on here! It was first time I'd seen either show on TV in years. It usually aired in the morning where I was.

It was short lived, but I enjoyed it for the time it was on!

I went to IMBD page for this movie and nearly died laughing at seeing that you were right!

While its more likely the director or any of the actors wanted one, the mental image of Tom and Jerry themselves wanting one is more amusing.

I've said this before, but it's weird how they tried to make this pair up work.
They're not polar opposite personalities like Porky and Daffy.
Nor are they frenemies with opposing temperments like Bugs and Daffy.
They're both looney, but not in way that complement each other like the others.

Dan Castellaneta has always been good at impressions!

I will say in Return of Jafar, while he's not bad, I felt he was trying too hard to mimic Robin Williams at times.

But here in the TV series, he definitely grew into the role of Genie a lot more, and added his own flair to the character.
