I love it!

Lots of Lego leak stuff released today about the Star Trek licence.
Rumoured to be the Enterprise D with the full bridge crew, Spot, Guinan, and Wesley.
Very excited about this...
I adore Hot Fuzz, Ghostbusters was a formative experience, I could probably act out Zoolander...but without doubt this is genuinely the funniest scene ever committed to film.
What have we become as a society?!
It finally happened: my son got more Lego for Christmas than I did this year.
Watching everyone falling for @gailsimone.bsky.social's pranks all over again is really worth switching social media platforms every few years.
Lego Rivendell update 5: Bag 10.
This bag was finishing the build of structure 1. Adding a tower to the building.
Here it is from all sides...
They probably just printed it in brown to save on printing new colour costs, they always do that.
And this incredibly beautiful roof that certainly didn't have me tearing my eyes out!
There was also a cool desk to finish his book...
First things first, Bilbo!
Carefully though, he's bitey!
Lego Rivendell update 4: Bags 7, 8 & 9.
More cool little details with these bags. Nearly finishing off the 1st building.
Loving the hair!
The second floor (Bilbo's room) has this lovely elven bedhead. I assume soundproofed for when Bilbo is knocking hairy feet.
Also on the back is a painting of the conflict between Isildur and Sauron in minifig form. Maybe he should've realised those Lego hands come right off, no need for a sword.
The back of this floor is amazing, with elf statues in the alcoves.
Which elf is a statue, and which a real elf though? The personalities make it tricky to tell...
This amazing little elvish bookshelf with very colourful books.
No books on how to get off your elf asses and help get a ring to Mordor though...
This little bed, which I assume is either the one Frodo wakes up in or is maybe Elrond's bedroom.
Lego Rivendell update 3: Bags 5 and 6.
These bags contained some really cool details...
Lego Rivendell update 3: Bags 3 and 4:
Building is beginning to take shape, with the vegetation laden masonry, a patchwork rug some elven archways, and some great looking candlesticks .
Also, I found this guy trimming the eaves under the windowsill...didn't seem pleased when I found him!
It does somewhat draw the eye...
He's very cool though, if a little intense at times.
Lego Rivendell update 2: Bag 1 and 2:
These bags were, predictably, mostly concerned with the base building of the first part of the building.
However, there was a small hobbit inside. At first I couldn't see him, it was almost as if he were invisible...
Lego Rivendell update 1: the instructions.
Each of the three books is beautiful, with little nuggets of info about the new pieces, the team, and the set.
The order of the books is denoted by the Leaves of Lorian...such a cool little detail.
I first pulled all the bags out of the box. All 49 of them. Then I'll put them back so the highest numbers are at the bottom and I can just get the next one without sorting through 49 bags.
And a pic of all the minifigures included.
Box shots.
The build has 6167 pieces, and while it says 18+, I will be employing my son to help me as he won't stop begging me.
OK, so I got myself something in the Black Friday sales. I will be building this in a series of posts and letting you all enjoy it vicariously through me.
This is aimed at them, not you by the way ๐คฃ
You've heard of elf on a shelf, but have you heard of getting a life?
