I may be in an art slump but I do love Niles Abara

After about 52 and a half hours, I beat The Outer Worlds 2 and got the best ending I could, not completely perfect, but close enough. That was my favorite game of 2025 and I can't wait to see what story DLC they have planned.
Still obsessed with The Outer Worlds 2!
I just love that Obsidian style gameplay and charm. The story is interesting, while exploring the planets and completing quests keeps me engaged. 🔥🎮
Gonna be one of the best games of the year at this rate 😁

Good morning to all my dear friends! 😊
I sincerely hope you have a wonderful day.
As for me, I plan to venture farther in TOW2 with a cast of companions that has absolutely won me over. Talk to them *between* missions, talk *during*, and immerse yourself in their questlines. It’s worth it.
Well, would you look at that! The Outer Worlds 2 has been nominated in the Best RPG category for the 2025 Game Awards! 💙 Talk about some awesome competition, though! What a year for great rpgs!
Ooh, @joefielder.bsky.social would be the best person to ask about this!
Wow! What a stunning shot of Niles! ❤️
I’ve been loving THE OUTER WORLDS 2! The moment to moment gameplay is much improved over the first (which I already enjoyed), the flaw system is super interesting and cool, and the companions’ stories are varied and nuanced.
A game like The Outer Worlds 2 rewards curiosity, empathy, patience, and the ability to put information together from gathered scraps and figure out what's crucial and how you should act on it. It treats you like you're smart. I ADORE it.

A terminal entry in The Outer Worlds 2 that a few people mentioned they like.
Possibly due to my ADHD, I rarely read any onscreen game text longer than an FTL update, but I read every terminal and journal in the original Outer Worlds because they were so well-written, funny, and concise. So I tried my best to hit that bar for them in The Outer Worlds 2.
The Flaws system in Outer Worlds 2 is really cool. Game is like “oh you like minmaxing? What about…the DEVIL’S minmaxing??”
If you're playing Outer Worlds 2 and are mean to Niles, you should have your video game priveleges permanently revoked. This man must be cherished and nurtured at all costs
Thank you so much, Raven! 💕
Everyone NEEDS TO PLAY THIS. We need more TOWs games 😩 especially since this one was straight up phenomenal
A screenshot from The Outer Worlds 2. It's Paradise Island. Peaks and valleys are surrounded by colorful alien flora.
A screenshot from The Outer Worlds 2. It's the Golden Ridge. Once again, purple alien flora surround the main character.
A screenshot from The Outer Worlds 2. A puppet of the Moon Man is saying, "Alright, that new game smell's wearing off. Let's just get down to business." on the main menu.
A screenshot from The Outer Worlds 2. A cowboy-style NPC is saying, "That was some slick talking! Can't believe you got them to surrender without firing a shot! I thought for sure we'd have to blast our way out of here."
It was incredibly difficult not to talk about The Outer Worlds 2's utterly funny dialogues and gorgeous landscapes while reviewing it. Seeing everyone enjoy it now as much as I did is amazing.
Dialogue from Outer worlds about it's religion known as the plan when I expressed that religion has often historically been used to attack people. Niles: "Done some good, too. Even I can admit that not everyone following the Plan is a fanatic. But when those beliefs start to require hurting others, even killing them - that's worth questioning their virtue."
Hey, so not only is #OuterWorlds2 really good, it has some actually quite nuanced opinions about faith and religion?
A screenshot from The Outer Worlds 2 showing the companion character Niles. He is stood in a classic portrait pose, looking slightly off centre and into the distance. He looks heroic and kind.
Big fan of Niles

Niles, my Commander, and VALERIE stand on an elevator in a green lit room.
This isn't exactly news, but the radio in The Outer Worlds 2 is an Achievement and you *need* to listen to it.
Nails the tone perfectly. I've laughed at the messaging but also been genuinely impressed at the quality!

I'm a bit of an Obsidian sicko, and annoyingly yack at length about KotOR II and New Vegas and just about every game they do, but this one? This might be my favorite game of the past 5 years (at least since Cyberpunk).
This has 'everything' I cherish and value in a role-playing game. GREAT WORK!
Ahh, I can't think of a greater compliment than this!! Thank you so much, Jesse! ❤️
We are celebrating Day of Dead in México and Obsidian was present lol
This is so charming, haha! 🌝 Thank you for sharing!
I've only started it, but my God, the Outer Worlds 2 is so unbeilevably good. It feels like the culmination of RPG design up to this point. It's the best in every class. The writing, the levels, the combat, the MUSIC!!! Its all top notch.
Tysm to everyone @obsidianent.bsky.social who worked on it!
Hey, look, it's the little Pentiment easter egg I put in! 😅 Was hoping someone would catch this!
Thank you so much, Jay! 💕
Wow! Thank you, Martin! Having grown up loving narrative-heavy RPGs myself, it's been SO rewarding creating a game like this for others who also enjoy them! It's also funny you mention the Coen brothers, as their work was definitely a stylistic touchstone for our dialogue!
Oh, absolutely! You can never be sure how something will land, you know? But so far the response has been splendid! Happy to hear you're enjoying it as well! 😃
Thank you! ❤️ Gambler/Lucky is a great combo!
