My flight home flew next to Mt. Rainier last night. Pretty spectacular.

Still need to be extra careful on the review. Just had to correct for a suggested power supply that had a maximum output voltage less than the requirement, but still impressive
Instead of Flow Programming, I am trying Claude.ai for Flow Hardware Design. An interesting experience for sure. Starting with Hardware Architecture and refining as I go.
Bangs rocks together and screams….take your D10.
Not sure what this is exactly, but whenever I do a CTRL-C (cut) I have this feeling that I have something in my hand until I do a CTRL-V. It is a strange feeling and I sometimes forget about the copy and just need to do a paste to just dump the contents.

I know that this is a bit of an oversimplification, but it seems that with all the lunar landers tipping over, and lunar gravity being pretty low…some kind of an un-tipper-over-er mechanism would be a reasonable hedge against a completely scrapped mission. #youarewelcome
Seems like someone should call Selena Gomez, Martin Short, and Steve Martin.
Any chance you have the “how I used the template” photo? I could definitely use the steps 2 through ??
A meditation: If a Dad makes a joke and there is no teenager around to eye-roll, is it even a Dad joke?
The corollary of that is always a pre-teen/teen rolling their eyes THE MOST of anyone on the planet. Most likely co-located.
Every second of every day someone somewhere on earth is making the very best Dad joke possible at that moment. Like a laser pointer moving around the globe for that one moment, that individual reaches total enlightenment.
For the record, that is not now. Now it is muddy and soggy.
There is this cool moment in the spring when the big maples start getting their leaves in and the forest has an echoing / cathedral sound. Then I think new growth kicks in on the underbrush and the sound dampens. But for a few weeks, birds sound like they are in a massive cave.

Pro tip: when writing a critical email or one that is a tricky situation, don’t put the recipient in first. Do that at the very end to avoid any accidental “sent too early” mistakes.
Our favorite hike and the dog’s favorite pond almost led to a very cold walk home. #hiking
Missed the ferry, but the view from the beach in Edmonds is a great consolation prize.
Best trail in Fort Ward Park.

Just one-shot read Starter Villain by @scalzi.com and it was laugh-out-loud funny. Also, what I interpreted as some pretty spot-on social commentary. I hope to get as many well wishes someday as Uncle Jake did from his peers.
What is up with Edmund and Turkish delight? Was is some kind of Narnia heroin?
It took me far too long to get Mar 🐫 was @markhamillofficial.bsky.social … I thought it was a horse and now I am scheduling an appointment for reading glasses
curious about how very specific details end up in books… like House Lagos having a citrus monopoly in Collapsing Empire. Fun detail but does it hold deeper meaning or was @scalzi.com having OJ for breakfast? Originally potatoes but was edited out? Hedge against space scurvy?
It feels like when you can measure the number of Christmas lights you have in significant fractions of a kilometer, you may have gone a bit overboard. #christmas
