This is the @nejm.org study that examined non-opioid analgesic, VX-548 (suzetrigine/Journavx), in acute postoperative pain (bunionectomy & paniculectomy). 100 mg load, then 50 mg for maintenance was comparable to 5- mg of hydrocodone. Low dose no better than placebo.
