Beyond pissed off for Carlos. Even with the impeding from Hadjar, he was only -0.020s off making Q2. And there's absolutely nothing he or Williams could have done to prevent it.

🚨 Bearman overtook Sainz under red flags - and told the stewards he did so because he would've had to "slow down abruptly" otherwise and felt that would've been more dangerous.
The stewards say they "disagreed with his decision" and see no mitigating circumstances.

First I thought there was nothing to glean from SAI's FP2 due to a split run plan, but Haas had the same split run plan: SAI/BEA went S-M and ALB/OCO went M-S.
There was a shockingly precise inverse relationship in S vs M times on the two run plans! The soft was the worse tire on a green track.
Carlos spent the least amount of time in the pits out of any driver in Imola despite having one of the slowest pit stops. Pit lane dynamics are so interesting to me.
