My fall design schedule is filling up. If you’re interested in creating a new garden this spring, consider an August or September on-site consultation. We’ll look at your space together and come up with a plan. Have me out before the leaves fall.

If you want to bring vibrant flowers and animals into your space, it takes patience, planning, and perspiration. I can help with the last two!

I just submitted my testimony to support MD HB368, which will make Maryland Native Plant Month permanent and proclaimed by the governor each May.
Cornell Lab, which makes the Merlin Bird ID by audio app, now has a Garden for Birds program. They're moving from counting birds to growing them! I was very impressed with their calendar to help folks step through the program for a whole year.
Oh cool, I’d be happy to be in a starter pack :)
We need more folks leading gardening projects in their communities! I’ll be giving a talk in February to help you do just that. And it’s free!

Also, it’s a Thanksgiving cactus, not a Christmas cactus. There are three species and they bloom at the times you would expect.
Because I was posting about designing native gardens. This account is for my native garden design company. I think very few of us keep indoor native plants in December as house plants.
Got a gardener in your life and unsure what to gift? If you reach out soon, I can still make you a gift consultation in time to print off and give for your holiday celebration.

Do you have a gardener in your life? Are they interested in growing native plants and gardening for wildlife? Consider the gift of a garden consultation this year, so they can plan for spring with confidence! vibrantgardening.com/gift #maryland #nativegardening #giftideas #smallbusinesssaturday
strategies that will help with the “look nice” side of things. Also, I’m fairly certain I’ll be cheaper than most orgs, as it’s just me, so low overhead.
Here’s a recent article where I detail five lawn reduction projects we did this fall. streetcarsuburbs.news/native-garde...
I’ve pretty much created by business to address your exact need. My pinned post has info about my virtual consults (though I offer on-sites as well). Lawn reduction is a very specific type of project. Ground prep and design is part of it, and I can also share what I know about maintenance
Finished bouquet, though terrible lighting…it looked good though!

My Thanksgiving Cactus may be blooming, but I’m already dusting off my design templates and beginning to think about spring projects...
I hope you have a wonderful thanksgiving and take an abundance mindset into the new year!

I have the same signs, here in Laurel, MD.
A pin on the CBLP map showing my business listed in Laurel
In Laurel, Chesapeake Bay Certified Landscape Professionals were listed all around us, but none here. It's been one of my goals this year to fill that gap in the CBLP directory map. Goal fulfilled!

There is a #nativeplants feed that is more targeted to the content. If you want to make a MD version of that, pulling from my list/feed, you certainly can!
I don’t love the emoji thing because then somebody had to remember to add that to every post….
If it was up to me it would really just be a list that I could put into a starter pack so folks could follow a lot of people. However, it seems like there’s all this required hierarchy of list to feed to starter pack, so I just have it as a feed of all non-replies by list members.
Also, if you just have a random question, I can usually point you in the right direction. Trying to help more folks make more garden spaces for wildlife.
Hey, well if you’re interested and in MD, I literally built my little business around you as the demographic. I offer various types of consultations, help with design and install (I don’t “sell gardens” really, just assist). I’m also very skilled at acquiring native plants. vibrantgardening.com
