If you don't read you won't be able to write well. You need to consume a variety of genres to write effectively and craft a well-rounded story.
This is a simple fact.
If you never read, your writing will be flat and unengaging.
I’m for sure dating myself with these two, but this is what immediately came to mind when I saw the OP…
Two fictional characters from different universes you want to see fight

That’s my Superman.
Four-panel comic titled 'Dungeon Skeletons.' Panel 1: Two skeletons stand in a dungeon filled with weapons and treasures. One says, 'There are so many cool weapons here.' Panel 2: A skeleton holds a glowing, magical trident and says, 'I mean, look at this shit.' Panel 3: The other skeleton, holding a demonic battle axe, asks, 'What are you gonna use?' Panel 4: The first skeleton holds a rusty iron spear and says, 'Rusty iron spear.' The second skeleton responds, 'Nice.'
What's the most hilariously suboptimal weapon choice a character has made in your games?

Wild how Shadowrun today feels like an optimistic alternate future. Native Americans gain independence from the U.S. government? A benevolent dragon becomes the president and governs by suicide? People still communicate primarily through message boards? Sign me the fuck up.
You know, you’re just part of everything that’s happening tonight, and it’s all bad.

The Severance theme keeps playing in my head… is it bad that this is happening while I’m at work?
Same
Friday wouldn’t be so bad though… what do you think? 🤔
I hope I die on a Saturday because I hate Sundays
While my love affair with this game ended long ago, I’d be lying if I told you I don’t think about it every now and again. The idea was fun, but ultimately the execution fell short due to bad game design IMO.

RPGs may have evolved out of wargaming, but its value proposition is that it offers "something more" than wargaming, such as roleplaying and narrative opportunities.
Too much focus on the wargaming aspect forgets what makes RPGs special.
I’ve heard great things about this game, but never got around to playing it.

Oh man… it’s a classic! I watch it at least once a year. No lie: one of my measures for whether or not I’m gonna get along with a person is if they get the reference when I say, “We really shook the pillars of heaven, didn’t we?” lol!
I like the system, very simple and straightforward. Some of my friends can’t get with the whole you-either-die-or-go-crazy aspect of it, but I love it!
Yeah, my first thought seeing that was, “man, that’s twisted!” It made me feel kinda bad giving it a like! lol! 🤣
