I’m sorry. I want to help. I truly do. I just feel like I have more agency in a country I live in. And we are not there yet. Really hope we don’t get there. Xx

> There has been some trolling but honestly it just feels like I’ve really got under the skin of some chaps who live on the manophere! Otherwise why would they bother to find me??? I have no idea who they are & they seem kind of obsessed with me. Xx

> has been wonderfully positive. I don’t read the comments! But lots of people have slid into my DMs to say that my ep of Triggernometry made them rethink or they don’t agree with me on everything but they admired my bravery and it opened them up to better conversations & so it feels worth it! >

Thank you - this is so kind. I actually has already left Twitter because of Elon Musk. I know writing a book like Six Conversations We’re Scared to Have & going on a podcast like that one will draw a lot of hostile criticism but I felt it was time to speak up and show my face. Overall the response >

> I think the kind of people who leave those messages just seem threatened to be honest. If anything they make my point, as you say. I don’t take it on. X

Oh please don’t worry. It’s kind of you to say but I don’t look at comments and I’ve had so many messages from kind people like you saying it made them think and they thought I did well which has been terrific. Also I did Davina MacCall this week & am having a lovely response from that. >

Attacks on Judges Undermine Democracy, Warns Ketanji Brown Jackson Speaking to a judicial conference, the Supreme Court justice said attacks were designed to intimidate and influence.

Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson, the Supreme Court’s newest member, denounced on Thursday what she described as "relentless attacks" on judges, and an environment of harassment that "ultimately risks undermining our Constitution and the rule of law."

lol - anyone who imagines they don’t have blindspots or hypocrisies is deluded. If you ever do a popular podcast with an audience likely to disagree with you please do send it my way. I’d love to hear how you go. Until then - cheers mate. Hope you find a little happiness and connection somewhere.

I think it’s probably difficult for you to see yours. Or do you think you don’t have any?

- it was really worth it. Not all Konstantin and Francis’s fans are as gracious as they are,
but I guess they know what it’s like to put themselves out there and step into a different political environment - so that makes sense they’d show more respect & empathy to someone willing to do the same.

Yeah it was scary to step out my comfort zone - especially as it was the first podcast I recorded about my book But the guys said how glad they were I came & how it was great for all of us to go there. I’ve had quite a few messages from people saying it made them rethink some things so I think -
