probably worse, sorry (I doubt he'd beat a wet wipe in a leadership contest tho)

one of the finest moments in pop music
(similar vibe, but Yorkshire and with more samplers)
you know about Hood, right?
this will somehow keep him in office for another six months
soon he will regain his stature and utter another 'meep meep'
I watched this exact video an hour ago and honest to god had the fleeting thought "I wonder if Perennial have ever posted this song"
Like no wonder people want cheap clothes when other essentials for current standards of living are so pricey.
Having kinda expensive headphones is on me, but just looking around at people outside everyone seems covered in expensive tech and that is a v new and p odd thing.
Like, I walk around everyday w £200 bt headphones on and will see a dozen or two people wearing the exact same model.

Kinda tangential to this, but I was thinking recently about how expensive day-to-day technology is. I have a relatively cheap phone rn (~£500 new), but that still costs 25x more than the phone I was carrying around 15 years.
Ride with the 'Easy Rider' into an action whirlwind!

Ringing the doctor and forcing the receptionist to listen to a really long and patronising script in Welsh before forcing the receptionist to listen to a really long and patronising script in English before I'll tell her what I want
Unicycle Thieves
was totally dead before their set (we played at 2pm and had been there since noon to help w/ sound check), but they totally revived me. love me jazz. love me noise.
Ty Melin is a superb bakery a few minutes walk away from The Gate (assume you’re here for WGP).
However, I am trying to do the maths on how Mick Jagger was 43 in 1986 and is somehow now 86 in 2026
I was 15 in 2011 and looked about 25. In 2026 I'm 31 and still look ... about 25.
I guess I have one thing in common with Mick Jagger and it's that we've both looked a certain age for half of our lives (which is quite an odd way to navigate the world, ngl)
some of you have never gone fishing in the Strait of Hormuz and it shows
I do need to work on my Keir Starmer impression. It's just the perfect voice for when you want to imitate someone who is both unknowingly thick and cowardly.
a relatable stupid twink comic where im driving my car hunched over and i say “god my neck fuckin hurt” i think of my comic friend telling me “brie ya gotta have good posture now or youll end up like me!!” i sit straight up and then continue to do so and think “i feel like a fucking sociopath”
looking forward to the criminals who govern us dissembling and havering about this until everyone forgets again
just realised what starmer’s expression of here and elsewhere reminds me of and it’s william h macy in fargo lmao
Can’t believe Sir Keir just went on the telly to announce that it’s actually safer in Dubai right now than in most parts of the UK
the UK is largely a remarkably safe place to live and tbh I think people here should appreciate that more
Cardiff is actually the safest feeling place I've lived in (York 2nd)
lived in Dubai for 18 years and I can firmly say that I did not feel less safe living in London than I did there (in case anyone is doubting whether right-wing grifters are in fact melts).
Honestly pretty scary to see a place you have family and used to live in bombed!
