Decades ago, my father-in-law was a house painter. He started having difficulty finding jobs. Yet, I could drive through neighborhoods and see house after house that badly needed painting. So, people postpone haircuts and painting their homes?

To address the voter registration obstacles facing up-and-coming voters – the 4 million American high school students who come of age every year – The Civics Center has created state-specific online educational resources.

I’ve bought another batch of these beautiful #PostcardsToVoters from the artist @juliehampton20.bsky.social
It helps me stay interested and persist in writing regularly to have a really sharp design on the postcards.

Same here. I knew nothing about Bach. Greenberg is a master explainer! I mean much of Bach is still way beyond me, but that course gave me a good start.
Even more mind-boggling is how good he is at it. I have his course "Bach and the High Baroque," and I have listened to it multiple times.
🚨Alright Virginia peeps, it’s go time‼️Texas handed Trump 5 more congressional seats and this is how we answer. Time to fight 🔥with🔥🔥 #VirginiaVoteYES before or on April 21. This temporary redrawing of your Congressional maps helps level the playing field. Obama explains👇👇
Let's go GA - vote for Shawn Harris!!
VOTE BLUE 💙
Georgia has 3 supreme court seats up in May and 2 have DEM candidates! Please help write postcards!
These do cost money but they are well made, and require only 1 sentence script to be handwritten.

We’re suing President Trump... again.
This time it’s over an illegal order that threatens voters, election workers, and vote -by-mail. He’s trying to nationalize elections so HE can decide who’s allowed to vote and who isn’t.
Wow! Thanks for that. A couple years ago, an instructor told a bunch of us geezer mandolinists that we should not practice so as to sound like Chris Thile. “To do that, you would have to have started when you were 5 years old!”
(And be massively talented)
There is a great mandolinist named Sierra Hull, who complained that auto-correct always changed her named to "Sinerraaaed," or something. Her name is a genuine word in Spanish, and in somewhat common use in English. So, why change it to a collection of letters that means nothing in any tongue?
I thought about this book throughout the presidency of 'W." My sympathies were entirely with Starbuck, who believed he shouldn't resort to violence, but he saw that catastrophe would result if he didn't.
How much more-so now?
This sounds a lot like auto-correct, where the computer decides you couldn't possibly want to type the word "house," so it corrects it to "hhhospitttttl."
I became a paid subscriber a few months ago, and I’ve been very satisfied with that decision.
Wisconsin Supreme Court justices have a profound responsibility: protecting the rights of the people and delivering on the promise of equal justice under the law. Judge Chris Taylor is the only candidate running for Wisconsin’s Supreme Court with a proven record of delivering on that promise.
Oh, I’m glad to know that! I’ve been wondering if we’d get through the entire list. Thanks for telling me.
These will be my last 20 #PostcardsToVoters to support the candidacy of #ChrisForJustice in the April 7 election for the Wisconsin Supreme Court. To support our efforts to get out the Democratic vote by writing with us or contributing money, go to PostcardsToVoters.org

Great! I've seen that sight, but not that particular item. Thanks, Anne.
Writing #PostcardsToVoters is like the slow-burning fire that doesn't need to be fueled by publicity or excitement. It just keeps doing its thing.
And we just keep turning out voters!
EXACTLY RIGHT! Let's all look for something to do after the great showing on No Kings Day.
If you lack the time to write postcards, you can also send a few bucks their way at PostcardsToVoters.org
Volunteers write postcards at their own expense, but running the whole operation takes money.
Thanks for doing this work. I'm just now finishing my last batch for Judge Chris Taylor in Wisconsin.
Where did you get that colorful washi tape?
Likewise!
