takes about 5-20 minutes to make a decent one. not too bad

that would actually look really cool due to the texture variation

A religious magister/priest is on his knees looking skyward. He is bathed in intense red light, his eyes are glowing red, he has a red halo surrounded by eyes behind him, and blood pours down his face. His hands are clasped in prayer but his hands are spiked together with a nail. He holds a necklace in the shape of a crossed out eye as he prays. Chains are clasped around his entire body, some around his neck and many around his waist.

Some comic ideas/concepts floating around in the brain today so I did something "quick" this evening to get it out of my head.

i use both. just prefer procreate because it’s good on my ipad

this involves taking tiny pieces of images, vectorizing them, then making the brushes

extracted over 200 textures from public domain stuff and am using them to make these

pic showing brush strokes from some procreate brushes that i’ve been working on

some of the procreate brushes i’ve been working on

another commission done. had a fun time working on it

oh and look at impressionist paintings and the techniques. idk why but that helped sooo much

how i’m learning:
- ctrl+paint
- watch people paint with irl tools and try to copy the techniques digitally
