turns out that mesa's rusticl supports way more platforms than they actually document (they just document amd/nvidia/intel/panfrost [which is mali arm gpus]), they support asahi, freedreno (adreno arm gpus ie qualcomm) and rpi videocore it looks like, but they haven't updated the documentation. gah
