For sure, but man when it comes time to tidy, colour and shade, that's when I *really* hate myself.
Will probably leave it as a sketch, but it was a fun exercise!

First doodle for a while. Been playing the hell out of ARK SE: Aberration over the last week, and likewise had the itch to revisit an old Sergal character of mine.
I cannot help but torture myself with perspectives. I don't know why I do this to myself.
If you twist yourself into looking at it their way, it does sorta' make sense.
Cause' to those people, the penis doth make the man. Men and women have hands, so it's not a defining feature. Therefore, being born without one is not an 'issue' in the same way lacking a penis 'is' and 'issue' to them.
Finally got around to playing ARK Survival Evolved again, after 5 years of not touching it.
You can really tell how both The Island, and Scorched Earth were designed with PvPvE in mind, as there's not an awful lot to do in either.
Aberration, though? That's peak game design.
Would you believe me if I said before Dino, Bird, and even dragon...
I thought about having a snake as my sona? ๐
Ssssssounds crazy right?
Good evening! Recently, I discovered I don't think about proportions when I draw non-human characters. Adapting non-human heads to a human model is tough, so I made a little experiment using the Loomis method to help me explore and hash things out.

Finished up importing that little kobold I modeled into Super Mario 64 COOP Deluxe! It was certainly an educational and very different experience from what I usually do, but quite fulfilling nonetheless.
I think I ought to mess around with blender more.

An island at the end of horizons edge.
Forgive my absence; I hit some very tough times these past few weeks.
For a little self-cheer-up, I decided to draw myself showing off my car to my #mantledbeast #OC, "Vandaryn Selles". I accidentally drew him as a massive freaking unit and not simply heavy-set, but hey.

Gargoyles have been doing the rounds of late, right as the mood for them hit me. So, I made one. Two, technically, since I made one for @fxwolfxe.bsky.social too :>

I found the purples to be the most damning.

Everything Burns.
Hello, it's been a while! I saw a variant of this challenge floating around, so I decided to give it a whirl. Done traditionally on a template I printed and scanned back in.
I don't anticipate jumping into a big grind, but you'll see pieces here and there.

NHS official pushed to add patient data to Palantir platform whilst also advising company
A lobbyist who worked directly for Peter Mandelson, on the Palantir board, and on the board of *four* NHS trusts.
Lobbying the NHS to hand over even more patient data to Palantir.
This absolutely stinks. Get Palantir out of the NHS. Sign my petition:

The Eye in the Sky
So scuffed but I tried xP
Verenix, but Roclin, perhaps? ๐ค
-can only be performed by Highborns. The magic needed to extract pure metals from ores, and shape it to the cities needs, for example, is a task only Highborns can handle.
Yes! A significant one.
Magical burnout is fatal, and happens if a roclin uses more magic than they have 'prepared'. Since all magic is, to borrow from DnD terminology, ritual casting, having a higher magical capacity lets you perform longer, and powerful rituals.
This means certain jobs-
Very true!
It is the one perk of having magic as a core theme. You're kinda free to do whatever you want.
-each city-state can have a wildly different culture or perspective.
Generally speaking, roclins are much more egalitarian. Life in the Deep Dark is dangerous. So it's very much a 'we're all in this together' mentality.
It does go deeper, but I'd probably end up with like 15 replies to tell it.
Still have yet to figure that part out. Kinda tempted to hand wave it with !!!MAGIC!!! >.>
And it honestly depends. There aren't really 'nations' as such in the Deep Dark. Instead smaller, individual city-states. (The tunnels are far too dangerous to support multi-city empires) So-
-the highborn, or lowborn caste.
That is, at its core, the prime difference. Of course, size, colouration, ECT are also tied to the hatching conditions. Highborn are usually taller, with colours of rare gems and minerals.
-a large portion of magic from two roclins, it becomes an egg.
The size of the chunk determines how much magic can be infused into it, and the amount of magic infusted determines the resulting 'magic capacity' of the child. That magic capacity then determines if they fall into-
I'll try my best to summarise!
Roclins aren't born in the normal way. Cities are built around large, crystalline pillars called 'Brightstone'. Every 300 cycles, these pillars shed excess material, forming egg-shaped chunks.
On their own, these chunks are inert, but, when infused with-
Too damn true.
If you're like me, you get intense bursts of worldbuilding energy, then months of wanting nothing to do with it.
Oh lordy I know that feeling. Naming and all.
Is it like a 'one wagon for storage, one wagon for living' kind of affair?
