CDC won’t publish report showing covid shots cut likelihood of hospital visits The report, which had cleared the agency’s scientific-review process, had been delayed. It now won’t be published at all, people familiar with the decision told The Post.

SCOOP: Two weeks ago, the head of the CDC delayed publication of a report showing covid vaccine cut likelihood of ER visits and hospitalizations by half. Now that report is no longer allowed to be published in CDC’s flagship scientific journal. My latest. 1/2

Respectfully, Comparing Iran 2025 to Iraq 2003 is inaccurate and unwise. Majority of US public supported Iraq invasion in ‘03, and it’s still more popular in the aftermath than Iran is today.

Iraq wasn’t based on a lie, it was based on bad intel. And it had coalition of the willing, Congress…

Why Amazon, Walmart, and Target Stocks Dropped More Than 10% in March | The Motley Fool

I went ahead and saved this article in the Wayback Machine so that when historians are writing about the DEI Boycotts they can see how media tried to suppress the reality, even when Target’s stock plummeted 30% in 3 months: www.fool.com/investing/20...

The $100 billion club: These 15 people have 12-figure fortunes From Warren Buffett to Alice Walton, the number of people with a net worth over a dozen digits keeps growing, with Elon Musk topping the list.

To be as clear as possible: these mega-billionaires didn’t exist during Trump 1 and only exist now because of the Republican reconciliation bill of 2017, which is set to expire this year. The slashing will be trade-offs that allow cuts to pass with only R support.

Sooner than CU, we need to contend with whether the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act will extend cuts for billionaires. 8 years ago, people with dozen-digit fortunes didn’t exist. Now there are 15. The tax cuts get more expensive as wealth concentrates, which is why our federal government is being dismantled

Something that sometimes gets missed is that the government does not “give” or “take away” rights. Rights are “unalienable” & “endowed by the Creator.” You can’t earn them or lose them. They are either protected (by a legitimate government) or not (by a therefore illegitimate government).

And attorneys as “bullshit jobs” when they are core to the effective and legal functioning of these institutions. If he emailed all the lawyers this he’s about to learn that university attorneys know exactly how to expel him without breaking any laws.

The CR gave sequestration authority to the executive branch and explicitly included HHS (Medicare) and the social security administration. It expressed a sense of Congress that exec already had this authority. This will significantly weaken arguments before SCOTUS against Executive Unitary Theory.

This is horrible to post, but I may as well post it. We are essentially shutting down research operations in my group, which is focused on treatments for pediatric brain cancer. I’m a well funded investigator, and there’s no choice. Science can’t function without the stability of NIH

NH’s new ID requirements send some would-be voters home to grab passports, birth certificates The law requires all new voters to show proof of their U.S. citizenship. For some, that meant making multiple trips to and from the polls before finally casting a ballot on Tuesday.

As predicted, women in New Hampshire had a hard time voting yesterday because of the new proof of citizenship law:

“It doesn’t have my married name on it,” she said. Town voting officials then sent her away a second time, to get her marriage certificate.

All of your posts seem to be “unpopular opinions” criticizing the left. Huh.

No no, it’ll be fine this time. For them! With the FDIC and CFPB gone, they can gamble away the money in our bank accounts and won’t be under any expectation to pay us back 🥰

Pe Kha Lau was the first person who died due to the pause on foreign aid. She died on February 11, almost a month ago. Certainly hundreds if not thousands have died since.

This is correct, as was the original reply. Children under the age of 18 receive monthly payments. You can log into ssa.gov and see how much your own kids would get if you passed. My dad received monthly payments on my behalf until I was 18.

I read somewhere that you’re actually just buying a time-limited license to view the material. If true then they need to call it something other than “buying.” If only we had a word for such a thing! Like, I don’t know, *renting.*

Also, physical media all the way!

Totally beside your point, but I can’t imagine launching a one-product business, learning that my product could *kill a baby*, and responding to that information by suing the safety regulators. Yikes!!!

Fully agree. At this stage the biggest threat to unified resistance is purity tests and mission creep.Gotta focus on one area of agreement and run with it

I pulled my kids out and homeschooled this year. No COVID, no flu, no norovirus, now no worry about measles (have baby under age one at home). I couldn’t conscience continued infections knowing what they do. I also understand I’m privileged to have that option and I feel totally let down by schools

I feel like we aren’t being honest enough with ourselves about how bad / dangerous this is going to get. MAGA preppers have been fantasizing about the collapse of society and persecution/execution of political opponents. Now we have administration officials suggesting they will make it a reality.
