Done with the first part of my major grind as I get art portraits done for my game. Now to get them transferred into GIMP 🐌

Portraits in this style take about a week or two depending on concept sketches. I work with a mouse and GIMP. This is what has slowed Lunar Syndrome down. I had to cave in the end and do my own artwork for my project.

Being a creative means you have at least two ongoing projects. Three if you’re daring and five if you are okay with a little chaos. 🐌

Might seem like a stupid question, but does Thief/DromEd count towards “In what experience do you have in Immersive Sim Building”? I suppose that it would be me more or less asking myself. 🤷‍♀️

Shifting priorities for a minute.

At least then it would be transparent marketing and maybe some of us could see a better resurgence for physical media and not have it look like it’s some “quirky hobby”. 🐌

That should be a generalization for everything not just gaming though. When you buy a product, you should have the right to have that within your account. Not have it vanish. Companies should admit that we’re all just renting their products. We don’t know anything digital.

I will always say time and time again that subscription models only last for so long. Did you know what failed from services like Sega Channel and Game Tap? It should have been warning about live service. I’m looking at you; XBox Game Pass. People want to own. Not buy licenses.

How is anyone surviving when every company under the sun charges five dollar subscriptions? That adds up after awhile. How else has every basic service feel like a reoccurring cable bill?

This isn’t a “money management issue”. It’s a business model that has sucked us all dry.🩸
