I’m happy to have given some insight into his book, I really want to post more about it but it’s too difficult to summarize his deep thoughts and mindsets, especially the first half.

He really decided to write a bunch of essays about his life after his healing journey 🥺

I’m just so awe struck by how much he put into less than 200 pages. He says he’s not good with words but damn he’d good at writing down his words!

He brings a healthy perspective and light into everything his writes, even his thoughts on life and death. He finally put his deep mind onto pages

Like the part where he says how he wishes he was like “Schrödinger's cat”, talking about how he wants to be viewed by others, but I can’t translate it in a way that doesn’t sound stupid when it’s actually deep 😭 And he way he summarizes each section with a answer or question

There’s so much depth put into every single page of his essay book that I just can’t summarize any of it well. I really hope his beautiful deep philosophical words will get interpreted into English and maybe other languages too. I refuse to butcher or belittle his words even though-

And he doesn’t just focus on vocal skills like hitting high notes, but also he knows the importance of singing with the heart (adding genuine emotion into singing) as well.

the next generation of singers will excel his generation.

He wants to bring vocal based music back in the industry!

He hopes one day he’ll get to sing on stage with his students 🥺

Idk if I posted this already but he’s very adamant about running a practical music academy NOT a kpop company, although he is considering the possibilities of becoming a kpoo ceo one day, but for now his goal is help lead his students in learning, not doing any survival show nonsense.

He hopes-

He feels a sense of father-like pride when he sees his students go at it on stage after they overcome the pressure and nervousness they had backstage.
He also refuses to become a shit ceo (obv not his words lol) he wants to be able to congratulate his-

capture the inspiration from every day life like how he feels with weather/seasons changes (feeling better after tge sun comes out etc) instead deliberately putting in effort to find moments of inspiration.

And he tries to put these feelings into his songs

He’s emotionally sensitive to transitions like weather changes. Whenever the sky changes, the air, and or feels the wind against his skin, he feels his senses come to life more. He also observes his dog to see how different weather affects her too.

He kind of sets of a mental radar and tries to-

Earlier in the essays he said he gets inspiration from every day things, like scenery, weather, or even emotions rather than consciously trying something to get inspiration. He also gets more impact from visual things than from different sensations. But he worded it all so beautifully-

me and care for them, don’t I first need to thoroughly establish a state where I am not a worry to them?”

He relates more to Sasuke than Naruto even down to the “you have to be strong on your own” mindset.

(Rough translation):
My belief is, “Each individual person needs to be strong on their own so that they can be even stronger together with others”…..”if I am to truly look out for the people around-

- He felt like he grew up along with the protagonist in The Fighting and learned a lot of philosophical teachings through it

- Minus the crazy unrealistic things the teacher does in Great Teacher Onizuka, changsub said he inspires to be like him when it comes to his own students at his academy-

He said even if he had all night, it wouldn’t be enough time to name all his fav manga/manhwa but these are the ones he named:

The fighting, Great Teacher Onizuka (GTO), Naruto, The King of Braves GaoGaiGar and Jujutsu Kaisen

He also said he learned 90% of life through manga/manhwa lol-

Atp he’s been boxing for 11 years, but he started mainly for self-defense and then immediately found enjoyment in it. He likes having a consistent exercise to do that’s not too repetitive or boring.

“The Fighting” manga is what first got him interested in boxing (he also LOVES comics so much)-

He wrote about his personal self vs his celebrity self and how he’s trying to find the balance between the two. And enlisting in the military when one’s identity is “temporarily erased” is when the reality of his identity hit him the hardest. He doesn’t want his identity to only be attached to work

He wrote about that song giving him strength after he expressed his love and gratitude to his fans (Melody) who feel the same about his songs. He said he freezes up with awkwardness in those moments when fans express their gratitude to him, yet I think he’s so good with words though.

- a singer who gives people strength and comfort through his songs, OH THATS ALREADY TRUE THOUGH!

And overall he wants to be a person who takes responsibly and doesn’t put pressure on anyone else. He wants to give people a sense of comfort instead of making them anxious around him.
