Sorry to be overly sincere for a second, but here's why we decided to persevere through all of the bullshit and take over InfoWars.
There's just gotta be a line somewhere.
Thank you @pablo.show for letting me talk so openly about this.

nothing has got me going into "Pepe Silvia Mode" more than the fact that Little Shop of Horrors has been produced in the Chicagoland area NINE TIMES in the last ten years. do none of these artistic directors talk to each other????*
*i know the answer is "no." still!
With the help of the Sandy Hook families, The Onion has reached a long-awaited deal to take over InfoWars.
We've enlisted the help of @timheidecker.bsky.social, who will be InfoWars' Creative Director.
Please stand by for more.
leftists are my greatest adversary because they are destroying america destroying america or being rude to you online? being rude to me online

Donald Trump post "The U.S.A. is the “HOTTEST” Country in the World right now. Just a short time ago, under Sleepy Joe Biden, IT WAS DEAD, LAUGHED AT ALL OVER THE WORLD!!! But not anymore - Nobody’s laughing!!! President DJT"
Trump slowly evolving into dril
all over the place recently.
The fact that Mamdani just seems like a cheerful normal guy who's policies are things like "we're going to tax second homes to fund pothole repairs" or whatever and yet this generates panicked responses like "This is basically Stalin's great purge turned up to eleven" is... telling. It tells things.
Lee Cronin’s The Super Mario Galaxy Movie.
Not to be too dramatic, but stop what you’re doing and watch this David Byrne performance of ‘Life During Wartime’ right now. You won’t regret it.
Damn there are *always* exactly the number of Democratic votes needed for the GOP to get what it wants. Wonder what's up with that, or if it's a thing people notice.
The infinite growth model is one of the worst things to happen to journalism/media. At some point you reach the ceiling of people who want to read your magazine! You can just make enough money to pay people well and publish things and not grow forever!
Tweet by director Joseph Kahn: The solution to the theatrical problem is very simple. Extend the time before it goes to streaming. Make it 180 days. 6 months. If you don't watch it in theaters you won't get to see it for a long time. Studios have devalued their product by letting the consumer know there's no urgency. They're going to see it for "free" later. They've cheapened the business into a buffet and violated basic supply and demand.
plainly true
the age-old philosophical debate; if a company has a rental agreement they can't back out of, but don't have a show to put in that space, did a play *really* happen there?
thrilled that @oldfilmsflicker.bsky.social is bringing Nadav Lapid's latest to Chicago!!!! a must-see screening of the season if there ever was one.
BLESS.
happy birthday!!
This last-minute-celeb-producer trend has become an unseemly way of getting a Tony nomination. The Fear of 13 is in final previews; it opens Wed. It's already BEEN produced. Being labeled a producer when you are basically an endorser is not great. Asterisk those EGOTs! deadline.com/2026/04/kim-...

nathan fielder meme of him saying “out on the town having the time of my life with a bunch of friends. they’re all just out of frame, laughing too.”
pretty sure I just saw Artemis’ descent from space out the window but didn’t grab a picture so as to be in the moment, so even posting about it without footage feels like this:
No one likes unnecessary scaffolding. Thankfully, we have a plan — and John Wilson is here to help break it down.
God, I was just thinking about how they better be using American-made steel to build the illegal ballroom that sucks
how far down the list of options do we think Pink was? 8th choice? 17th?
quote from Pink: "When I was asked to host the Tonys, I immediately thought, 'I have to get permission from my daughter.' I’ve never been on Broadway, and shouldn’t you have to have been on Broadway in order to host? That seems fair and right. But when I asked my daughter, she was really excited about being able to have a ticket to go to the Tonys, so I’m hosting the Tonys and I’m really, really, excited and very nervous because that girl is a tough crowd!"
"i actively think i am unqualified for this job, but my daughter wants free tickets for the awards, so i guess i'm doing it" has got to be one of the dumbest and funniest admissions i've heard in a while. playbill.com/article/gram...
had a ball with THE DRAMA last night. funny and thorny and well-performed by some of our best working actors. our wednesday evening AMC crowd was almost sold out, primarily young women under 25, everyone riding the wave of the film perfectly. very trite to say, but the movies are, indeed, Back.
I went and saw Project Hail Mary.
A guy came in with his service dog and the dog sat there the whole time just concentrating on the movie.
Afterwards I told the guy I was amazed your dog watched the movie like that.
He replied, me too especially because he hated the book.
!!!!!!!!!!
