For immigrant NYers there's a second layer of fear: that their attempt to find safety could lead to permanent exile from the only place they call home. #NY4All would make strides to ensure safe reporting of violence, access to critical healing services, accountability for harms they’ve faced.

WHY did Border Patrol improperly pick him up in the first place? Because the Sheriff called them.
