Photo of the cover for the game The Frog Squad. There are red and green illustrations of Frogs in a data center on a blue background. The text says, "junk Food Games presents The Frog Squad in Hearts Against the Machine. A ttrpg and card game for 3 Frogs."
The Frog Squad is out now!
This is a tiny 3-player ttrpg and card game about Frogs destroying a data center and uses mechanics inspired by the trick-taking game Hearts. I made it for the #LeanGreenZineJam
Check it out! Sharing is greatly appreciated!

A linocut of the lonely planet Peles. A dead birch forest stretches across rolling hills, above it a manor-observatory sits, its telescope aimed at the mystical Blood Comet arcing above. In the foreground sits a circle of eldritch channeling stones, a slumbering clockwork guardian ready to awaken at the first sign of intruders.
A monoprint of the cyborg Nicolai Scarlat. Half his face is contorted in suffering, the other half blank, mechanical, seemingly unfeeling.
A linocut of a dense fungal jungle, giant mushrooms forming a canopy over a small fire where alchemical reagents boils in a retort.
A monoprint of Iona, one of the chief pressmasters of Gutenberg, Ink, shrouded in an inky cloak, quietly weaving grand and inscrutable plans.
Hi there #PortfolioDay!
I'm Zosimos, a TTRPG designer and printmaker. These days I'm focused on linocut, monoprint, letterpress, and risograph.
a fantasy map depicting the Aldarin Empire, a land with several provinces with jagged coastlines, two big mountain ranges, many forests, plains, hills, rivers, lakes and islands.
Map of a kingdom crossed by a river that goes from a mountain range in the northwest to swamps in the southeast, with a long lake in the middle. a big forest just southwest of the lake with a mountain in the center. The map is titled "Fellmyr".
a fantasy map depicting a hell. from the top to the bottom: there's a submarine city of strange towers and glass domes connected to a giant computer in the midst of reefs. a river and a lake goes south from this city in the midst of some ruins, ending on a big dam from where a timid river flows through a desert canyon. beyond the desert, there's another stretch of sea separating it from another city at the end of the map. there are planets hovering above this landscape: the remains of mars and a primeval earth covered in lava, fumes, guns and forts.
illustration depicting six different worlds in cut-out stretches of land: one is a post-apocalyptic scenario, the second is an epic fantasy land, the third is a sci-fi landscape, the fourth is a city-noir landscape, the fifth is a fairy tale world and the final one is an submarine landscape with monsters and cities. All these are being drawn to the center of the artwork where a "world under construction" is cut to show its magic demon melting core full of hellfire, circled by a magic dust ring, orbited by dragons, whitchy houses, flying wooden ships and spacecraft, surrounded by scafolding and attached to strange machinery and gigantic pipes and hoses at its bottom.
Hi there #PortfolioDay! π¨

A staged photo of a book that has the working hands of a clock. This book is a light, bright green, and has two arches in orange that create an oval on the cover. At the 12, 3, 6, and 9 positions there are silver squares.
A photo of a book clock made from a purple book. The books leather is stamped with gold foil flowers.
This book clock clearly shows signs of use, the book cloth's pink cover has a black rectangular stamp added to the top right corner with swirling lines in it.
This book clock depicts a blue storm with a small black silhouette of a city at the very bottom. A bright lightning bolt shoots from the top to the bottom center of the cover.
Did you know I had an Etsy? Wow me neitherβwait how did these get here?

The Studio Zosimos April newsletter is here! β¨
Ephemeris is heading out to backers this week, The Prismatic Oracle is on the horizon, and I'm thinking more about how I navigate the interdisciplinary nature of the game design and printmaking work I do.

Wrote a new article on solo RPGs. I played games by Comprehensible, @smallredrobin13.bsky.social, @breathingstories.bsky.social, and Brandon and Nicholas from @ravensridgeco.bsky.social. Then I interviewed them about how they make solo games and gave my thoughts.

1 - I once dreamt I was a man. It was as shocking as it was liberating, and one of the rare times I remembered my dream upon waking. I had still used the same name and still felt the same as I was. The only reason I knew Iβd been a man was seeing my reflection in a mirror: short hair; bright gold buttons sewn on a dashing coat; and then, with vision prompting my other senses to be curious, the slight pinch of suspenders over each shoulder. I did not fixate on it in my waking hours, although I did revisit that dream on occasion. It was always a pleasant subversion of myself. Lucidity never spoiled the illusion, and each time I was able to enjoy those differences as if they were my every-day. I share this so that you might consider what fantasies of expression and being you would entertain if given the chance. This is not an invitation to impersonate or lampoon, but to embrace. To learn. To feel. Games and stories end, but the feelings & lessons they impart are forever.
An excerpt from "Dreamer Identity" section of The Beckoning Dream to mark this day of Transgender Visibility.
You are seen. You are loved. We hope that one day our shared dream can become a reality.
Thanks so much for having me on!
