I don’t know if the council has enough votes to make it longer. That’s the thing. Curfews in general aren’t an agreed on thing by these councils. Chicago’s was vetoed last year and they didn’t have the votes to overturn it. They may be able to in DC, but it is a bit more complicated in other cities.

The curfew in DC is temporary as it couldn’t be sustained by votes. And I’m glad Bowser is almost out because she’s been awful.
