A question, a plea, a prayer. "Who will make me better?" Happy birthday, Patti LuPone. #pattilupone
Your annual reminder not to mess with this bitch. Happy birthday, Patti LuPone. Three times! Three times! #pattilupone
If you know Charlotte Brontë only through Jane Eyre…well, I know Charlotte Brontë only through Jane Eyre. And I still want to wish her a happy birthday! #charlottebronte #janeeyre #booksky
He had help from the shoulder pads. 😂
Honestly, I have listened to Idomeneo hundreds and hundreds of times. I love it. But I have never bothered to find out what it’s about. 😅
47 is a very important skill to learn if you want to give your macarons those "feet." Now please don't google Macron feet.
I'll go all cerebral on him.
About three minutes late. Happy birthday, Dusty Springfield! #dustyspringfield
Nailed it.
♥️ Missing my Stanford days! ♥️

Killing the Pope was the misfortune, losing in Iran the carelessness. Wilde did not foresee Hungary.
Make Our Garden Grow (it's our, not your, my bad) was not as high. Just so weird that they're all 19 seconds, give or take maybe half a second.
Two other final notes that she holds, uncannily, also for 19 seconds: "fly" in A Piece of Sky from the Yentl soundtrack and "grow" in Make Your Garden Grow from the Back to Broadway outtakes.
Bush uses both "dinner" (109 times) and "supper" (26 times, excluding "The Last Supper"), so I have to conclude that the choice of "supper" in every instance is deiberate (or terribly careless, sure). In what way I'm not sure yet. Just to compare, Mandell's stats are 95 and zero, Nelson's 100 and 7.
A related take: Gwyneth Paltrow makes everything smell like her vagina, including Shakespeare in Love.
I passed that point a while back. I’ll have to check it out later. Choosing between Bush and Treharne, not that one has to, is tough especially since Treharne was my favourite Penguin. The one thing that sticks in my craw is that he split that sentence about Robert handing Marcel his coat into two.
My interpretation is that “supper” clarifies that the invitation is for the evening meal, i.e., “le diner” in French. Depending on where you are, “dinner” could refer to lunch. No, I don’t think it’s quibbling, as Bush could have very well have quibbled about it and in the end settled on “supper.”
Photoshoppers on Bluesky, please get to work.
Cheer up, Charles. It's your birthday! #Baudelaire #Proust #Proustsky

The necklace is such a nice touch.
I haven't watched Survivor since season 2 but I was scrolling and came across this pic and thought I really want to punch this guy in the face and then I read your caption and thought now I really want to punch this guy in the face.
I googled the rest of that photo. I did.
I bought a used copy of that set in hardcover and found about 20 pages missing when I got to volume 5. I had to go scavenging for a used copy of just volume 5. I didn't call the publisher since the hardcovers are now out of print, so unless they had a copy kicking around…
adorably goofy
And may my wife refuse my bed if I can't deliver...oh, wait.
Sorry you lost 0.1 reader.
That cat is passive aggressive in the passive voice. 😂
