If you haven't seen it yet, our international Conference on Connections between Biodiversity, Climate, and Human Behaviour is taking shape: cbc-conference.org Abstract deadline next Friday, 14 April. Great keynote speakers and nice side-events, please check out the programme or get in touch!
Since you ask, in the not completely overlapping conclusions with the ones by George Tselioudis - I believe this one, by Ceppi, is a more reliable decomposition. Isolating cloud controlling factors, as Tselioudis et al. did, is notoriously difficult. Clouds are chaotic, and don't obey simple rules.
Sorry for responding late, somehow I got distracted!
The discussion on the rapidly increasing Earth energy imbalance is really a very important one, we need to understand what exactly is going on. Ceppi and colleagues have a very useful contribution in my view.
Strange. We don't use German but Latin (the universal language of former times) normally for the title: Doctor rerum naturalium.
Wow, was that today?
Researchers analyzed 40 years of satellite greenness data and tracked the center of mass of global vegetation. They found that the planetโs center of greenness has been shifting northward and eastward and that this movement has accelerated over the past decade.

You may have read about the threat against NCAR. Now the American National Science Foundation collects arguments in favour of NCAR. I don't know how valuable for them comments from international folks will be but still I left my comments and maybe you could too? agu.quorum.us/campaign/154...

She seeks to understand environmental decisions and behaviours and to develop communication and behaviour change strategies that can promote greater environmental sustainability. A key focus of her current research is on sustainable urban water management, specifically, how we can engage communitites with this issue."

Global greenness in September. Shown is a globe depicting average global terrestrial greenness in September, visualized as โheight over groundโ and averaged over the period 2000โ2023. Greenness is derived from satellite remote-sensing observations provided by NASAโs Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer and illustrates the large-scale spatial distribution of vegetation activity across the terrestrial biosphere. The wave of green that sweeps Earth from the north in boreal summer to the south in austral summer is shifting due to climate change. Researchers found the centroid of the wave moving northward since 1982 and eastward since 2010. In PNAS: https://ow.ly/PjPU50YmYKz
