It’s funny… during the presentation where Winds and Waves were announced, I skipped right over the Pokopia stuff. Since then, I bought a Switch 2 and I’ve only played Pokopia on it. I can’t stop. It’s amazing.

I fully plan on rebuilding the RPD main hall in Pokopia.

Everyone is all about Pokopia right now and I’m over here playing geriatric LeafGreen for the first time. It can barely get out of bed these days.

The older I get, the more annoyed I seem to be from Pokémon just saying their own names. Pikachu gets a pass though.

My reaction to seeing it being $20 was “oh that’s not bad. I expected more”

That’s kinda my point though. These are 22 year old games with just another console option you can play them on. They aren’t necessary purchases. Emulation is always an option, so all these hate feels so overblown to me.

You’re either interested in playing them on the Switch or you’re not and you move on. It just feels way overblown to me.

Maybe a hot take but I do not see the big deal with this FRLG stuff. The Switch is now just AN option to play them. They’re 20+ year old games that most fans have already played. No reason to feel pressured to buy these if you’ve played them other ways. I don’t see it as this substantial release. 🤷🏻‍♂️
