With Clover planning on leaving for work for the next week, I wanted to use the schedule disruption to do a quick week-long game jam. But then I slept on my shoulder wrong. To incentivize hoarding, you get more of a higher tier resource when you convert higher numbers of a lower resource. 3. But what madness did they use to decide payouts. Why does no number yield seven? 4. Mobile games are legitimately causing me harm. (I deleted all of them) Explanation: * 5->2: This would naturally be the reward for 6, but if it were, you would have no reason to save past 3. So they discount the cost to 5. * 8->3: This is not a special discount number. It's just a combination of 5 (gives 2) + 3 (gives 1). * 9->4: The next discount mark would be 10, two 5's, but if they just left it at that, nobody would have any reason to save until 10 over just cashing out on every 5. So how they pulled the cost back from 6 to 5, they pulled the cost back from 10 to 9. * 12->5: similar to 8, this reward is just the previous + 3 * 14->6: is 5+5+5, with cost pulled back for the same reason as 5 and 9. * 17->8: This is just the previous +3, AND the 5 rule combined, because 18 will be 9+9. * 20->9: Previous + 3 again * 22->10: This one is like a +3 situation but for being 5 more than the PREVOUS previous, 17. They're the numbers you choose if you want hoarding to always be optimal.

I think the reason I might be so against doing commissions any more is because one too many people gave me the impression that I wasted their money.

They sit in the back of my mind saying I should go back and fix the mistakes. It's like those commissions never ended.

For valentines day, Clover went on a nice walk with me. Saw a really poorly constructed trail. Got dinner at a thai place. Later, asked Clover if she'd go on a walk to the top of the hill with me. Starting to feel like car engines burn my energy as fuel. For every bit the driver isn't 100% focused on driving, I feel like I have to make up the difference.
