4/5 stars⭐️
What a lovely read! This is the second Emily Henry book that I have read and it did not disappoint. A really sweet, low cortisol read which I thoroughly enjoyed. The perfect Rom-Com to get lost in for a few hours #booksky

It’s fantastic! I’ve just watched the Netflix series too and it’s great
So proud of myself - this is the longest book I have ever read (it’s 1,500 pages) And I loved it!!
4/5 stars, an engaging and very readable book! Lost a star as there were chapters that felt quite ramble and unnecessary and ALL the drama happened in the last 300 pages?! #booksky
Right #booksky - who has read this?
If you have, please let me know because I have thoughts! Particularly around the fact that I read 1,300 pages of chilled, low cortisol story and then the action comes in the last 200 pages?!
I’ve fully come off Twitter/X now, recent events were the final straw, so going to invest more time on this platform!
Hi everyone 👋
Now I’m aware that 2026 is in a few days, but I have made a short list of things I want to do before the end of 2025 - and making my own bread is one of them 🍞
Wish me luck 🍀
Thank you, so kind! Always such a great conference!
I’m speaking at the 2025 @bsacp.org.uk Conference on abortion experiences of UK servicewomen.
Privileged to share our findings and explore how policy, practice & culture can better support those who serve.
Let me know if you are planning to attend!

New publication alert 🚨
This paper examines what is currently published on abortion in servicewomen worldwide and highlights a gap in the literature. It also provides guidance on how to conduct research on this topic to improve understanding
#medsky it’s OA so check it out!
Hi #booksky - I have just read this absolutely stunning book and really wanted to hear what other people thought! 📚
Book 6 of 2025 ☑️
Finished this lovely little summer read today
4/5 ⭐️
Such a sweet storyline of love and friendship, loved how it jumped from the past to the present with such ease
Would 100% recommend if you like a book you can just switch off from the world with

Got this lovely reminder on my coffee cup this weekend❤️
Going into this week remembering how important the little things are, and continuing to be grateful for all the little “wins” ✨
It’s not secret that I am normally on the go 24/7 but life has been much slower than I’m used to lately☀️
Trying to romanticise the small things in life like coffees, sunny walks and reading books that bring me joy✨
Spotted this whilst having a roam around the library - such a great initiative to help to combat period poverty in the UK, but sad that it is needed.
We need to ensure everyone who menstruates has access to the products they need, and facilitate their choice of method
On the topic of books, I have definitely experienced a dismissal of romance books (in bookshops & bookclubs) as “easyreads” or not important, despite some of our classics being rom
"Do we see broadsheets reviewing romance books? No. And they are just as important literary books”
Thoughts #booksky?
My fondest childhood memory was sitting in the sun on school summer holidays getting lost in a book☀️
So when the sun is out, I’m recreating my “happy place” #booksky
Totally agree, she’s a great author!!
Finished this lovely read during the week
4.5/5 stars ⭐️
I’m obsessed with Beth O’Leary books, and this one did not disappoint!
Have to say though, “The no show” is still my favourite- still am yet to get over that one 😍😭 #booksky
My #booksky for 2025 has been terrible (and I could list 100 excuses but I’m not going to)
Book 3/25 ✅
I really loved this book, would rate it 4.5/5 stars - it’s so beautifully written with a captivating story line, can definitely see why it won the women’s prize!
What lovely news to start the Easter weekend ❤️
Sadly I couldn’t be there to collect my award in person, but so honoured to be recognised by @aberdeenunilib.bsky.social where I studied both my undergraduate and postgraduate degrees! #medsky
Oh #booksky, how I have neglected posting - I have just finished this incredibly insightful book on the transition into motherhood and I would highly recommend it!
Hopefully my next book will not take me as long to read! Has anyone else read this?
