PVPoke suggests UL1 gets two extra wins, so I agree, there’s nothing in it. I’d build UL1. I see the 4* more as a trophy piece - it can be built later. But I tend to be far more utilitarian than most Trainers…

Yes, it is easy to get into without knowing anything about the franchise. However, you’ll find it is an inventory management game - you will need to commit time to it outside hikes and workouts. Other players will be more than willing to help you understand the game mechanics and any relevant lore.
