The court got it wrong.

Denying transgender youth the health care they need solely because they’re trans is discriminatory, and we will keep fighting.

Read the dissents first because there's no way that trans liberation won't happen at some point. Just not today, sadly.

And when it does happen, all these transphobic bellends will pretend they were always for trans rights.

I'm disgusted.

“I want people to understand the power that mainstream media has in creating public rhetoric, which has a direct impact on litigation.” – filmmaker Sam Feder via @theguardian.com

Carol Downer, Feminist Leader in Women’s Health, Dies at 91 She opened clinics, worked to educate women about their reproductive health, and promoted an abortion technique she felt was safe enough for laypeople.

The beginnings of an abortion procedure - menstrual extraction. This history confirms the need for privacy and autonomy over one’s menstrual cycle and data as part of reproductive freedom. Thank you Carol Downer for fighting hard for these things. www.nytimes.com/2025/01/26/h...

Statement from President Joe Biden on Federal Death Row Commutations | The White House I’ve dedicated my career to reducing violent crime and ensuring a fair and effective justice system. Today, I am commuting the sentences of 37 of the 40

"I am more convinced than ever that we must stop the use of the death penalty at the federal level."

Amazing. What a day.

Revealed: trans rights case at US supreme court features doctors previously discredited by judges Tennessee relied on doctors rebuked by courts for inexperience and bias to defend its trans healthcare ban

NEW: the trans healthcare ban before the US Supreme Court rests on a group of doctors who have repeatedly been discredited and dismissed by judges as unqualified, inexperienced + biased “experts” spreading religious doctrine and misinformation.
