In a somewhat crazy and frightening world, I thank God for those who, like Bishop Mariann Budde, have courage and integrity. I pray for their protection, wherever they are and whether widely known or faithfully and quietly persevering.

Back to a reasonable level for this time of year. Some of our neighbours on the other side of the river had a difficult time yesterday as it goes over on that side first. Quite a lot of flooding on the roads this morning as I drove to Gresford but all passable with care.
