In a nutshell. 😊
"Por la emoción de ser racista" le ha faltado añadir.
unless and until republicans agree to a ceasefire in the form of strict anti-gerrymandering provisions: fuck them to hell, squeeze every last drop of blood from the stone, lock them out of every seat you can
Reminder: Whoever denies that media and social media narratives, memes, infos, desinfos, reels, etc., drive people’s perceptions, and therefore, people’s actions and decisions, is either a disingenuous hack or is politically illiterate and does not deserve your attention or your time
Gonna spend the next two years spamming every elected Dem about the concept of "damnatio memoriae." Chisel his name off every inscription. Build over the various Trump Towers like they're Nero's Golden House. Remove him from physical memory, not to forget but as a sign of disrespect to the man.
This is a boringly accurate, purely factual description of events.
And again, this is simply not receiving the same breathless BIDEN FAILED IN AFGHANISTAN type of coverage, even though this is orders of magnitude worse on every dimension. The two parties simply are not held to the same standards.
So true. Not even a scintilla of effort to make this a legit investigation. This is the LawFare they falsely accused Biden of.
And this is why there was an effort to destroy tiktok and now, its been bought by trump’s friends. Because people hear and learn about the world and what happens in social media like that. And then act based on that info or desinfo.
We've had administrations where the Civil Rights Division took a less watchful eye to the rights of racial minorities or diverted its energies to address other issues, but this is the first administration in history to pervert it wholly into a tool to *hurt* the people its supposed to protect.
Im still blocked :(
Back to the genocide threats.
i was just saying to a friend a few days ago that trump's public opinion collapse opens up the field of possibilities in ways that are truly unpredictable. it is one thing for a president to be this popular at the *end* of their turn, but not even two years in?
In fact, we know this
Yep
Esto no es cierto porque me lo han dicho aquí
Sí, creo que es la intención
Yesterday, Israel used a triple tap attack to kill paramedics in Lebanon. This means that they first bombed, waited for paramedics to come, bombed again, waited, and then bombed again. It was all caught on camera.
There is no peace possible with this.

Dios, qué genial hacen sonar a Newsom
brilliant -- Morning Joe put together clips of Pete Hegseth reciting a fake Bible quote from Pulp Fiction, along with the Samuel L. Jackson scene from the movie
Mmm no, we know as a fact this is false.
The media employment environment has been legitimately rough. One of the old theories of the "vibecession" is that the gloomy industry conditions in both media and tech, whose participants have massively outsized influence in what people hear about, are helping to drive the narratives people adopt.
Hmmm. Krugman lands on the exact points and thesis explaining it certain people on this website have for a few years while being called ignorant, insensitive fools by other certain angry mobs.
exactly, but it should be obvious by now that less informed, not very aware-normie kind of guys do not get or receive the info, memes or narratives the same way a NPR listener does, or a MSNOW viewer
I think back to COVID where I could directly trace the soft COVID denialism arguments I would hear in person to social media group-thinks I had directly read as they formed. These were circulating among people who clearly were hearing them second-hand and they were more, not less naive about it.
Exactly, one of the basic things to talk about this is to know that not all groups of people treat the info and desinfo the same way. A guy that listens to NPR daily does not treat or receive info and therefore, narratives, the same waymy de-ideologized and not informed normie cousin does
This idea sorta lines up with a social media hypothesis in that you might get people from this group disproportionately going online to translate their consumer complaints into political themes such as abstract concern for the dispossessed, leading to a wider impression that things are bad.
