Exactly! I feel like NOBODY learned from Akira Toriyama (rest his soul) who had Goku become a grandpa and he STILL save the world. Like for goodness sake, he wasn't even a romantic writer and he got healthy relationships that were successful and long lasting right!
Plus, Naruto and Dragon Ball found a way to age characters and expand their families while still keeping the story going, but even if they ended now, that's not a bad thing. Endings are a good thing.
I know that the number one reason companies refuse to let characters get married and have kids is because it also means that at that point, you may need to end the story, but I have one hot take...
Maybe that's not a bad thing. What's wrong with ending a story while it is still good?
I miss the lovable version of Mary Jane too. Marvel really did a number on Pete and her. And what twists the knife even harder is that Stan Lee (rest his soul) had always intended for Peter Parker to eventually be happily married with a stable job and kids, but Marvel refuses to let that happen.

I am not one for loud stances or acts of rebellion, but as an artist who supports other artists regardless of their class or other details, I will boycott watching anime by a company or streaming service that will not translate it correctly for censorship. Present the art as is or not at all.
This is a recreation of the cover of the Sailor Moon manga the first version I had in French from Glenat. Since magical girl anime highly inspired my take on Pretenders, I did this because Sailor Moon is in my opinion the best magical girl anime/manga ever.
