I created a shep character last year so I'm doing my part.

At this stage a non-insignificant chunk of my desire to Do Something Different is the distant daydream of being able to bury LinkedIn.

Entertained one random call last week and now I'm paying for it with all my sanity dropping as it's evident they didn't listen to a word I said (as is always the case) and are clearly desperate for their commission.

Every time I get a LinkedIn notification, an email or (worst of all) a random unexpected call from a recruitment company representative, I feel all my life energy simply sapping away.

Yeah it has no real point to it, the "meaning" is the confusion it incites.

What I love about it is how it's been co-opted by millennials so heavily that Gen Z (or even A?) who started it have now begun to abandon it. Fools, thinking they could out-brainrot the Newgrounds generation.

Other memorable entries: the bread and coq au vin recipes in Deus Ex, the various recipes found in the thicc manuals for old Black Isle/Troika RPGs.

I don't know why but I always like it when you randomly stumble into actual real life recipes in video games. I imagine a dev/art team member who had a recipe they really loved and took the cheeky decision to share it with the rest of the world.

Anyway fun to see Mouse P.I. joining the club.

FYI this has now been fixed. Gotta commend them, they did jump onto it very quick which is great to see. There's still a handful of weird keybind blind spots but at least all the main action keys can now be switched and I can actually move.

Spent a bunch of today with the game. Fun thing.

I'm open for a few commissions like this currently. A few as in 3-5.

(It doesn't have to be this specific theme, of course.)

I dunno what your keyboard layout looks like but my arrow keys are definitely on the right side of it :)

The arrow keys used to be the NORMAL and MORALLY CORRECT option while WASD etc were reserved for the unfortunate player 2s on same-PC multiplayer games, and defaulting to such things as the P1 controlling method seems to have been practical joke that went too far.

If this is about Mouse PI then that game offers a number of audio filter options from pristine to very period-wobbly.

At least one of the devs are saying on the Steam forums that a full rebind should be added in a patch "very soon" so there is that, but 1) kinda bogus basic stuff like this wasn't there to begin with and 2) after Friends vs Friends I'm automatically sceptical.

Heads up - at the moment you can't rebind movement keys on Mouse P.I. for Hire so if you don't WASD, better hold off on buying it for now. Hopefully gets fixed soon given how basic this is.

I'd say this is a crazy oversight in 2026 but you'd be surprised how many games forget about full rebinds.

I find HAA wildly underrated. It's flawed and uneven for sure but it sure hits hard as well when it wants to. It's just *very* different to their usual proceedings which I think catches everyone by surprise!
