the amount of AI trance "music" slop on YouTube is hella annoying. sound too clinical, lacking emotion, insanely boring, repetitive beats, and lyrics like they were written by wannabe edgy teenagers🤮
theoretically i have nothing against AI trance music, but only if its just another "instrument"

At the end of the day, life sure can be funny.
At the time all I could do was laugh. Even now, 35-years later, I still crack up about it when retelling the story to different friends. The military does crazy stuff like this to people, but the camaraderie it builds is unlike nothing else I have ever experienced.
Surprise surprise, right?🤭
To this day I firmly believe San Dawg boot camp purposely put us in the same company specifically to fsck with us.
Hanging with an old military friend reminded me of when I was in Navy boot camp. Of all the companies forming every week in San Diego, mine had both a Jarkoff and a Wyckoff. Our company commanders unsurprisingly yet affectionately referred to us as "jack-off" and "whack-off"🤣
Last night I met up with an old Navy buddy. We have known each other for 25 years, and more or less stayed in touch. When I was on shore duty in Yokosuka in the mid-90's, he and I worked quite closely together on a team of two setting up all the communications channels required at the time.
What kind of idiotic shenanigans is this @f1tv.bsky.social Refusing to support @firefox.com on F1TV, claiming its an unsupported browser makes zero technical sense. This nonsense only started during the Las Vegas GP. Firefox handled every race before without an issue. Completely uncool and illogical
Karp is absolutely bonkers. I do not understand why so many eccentric CEOs voice such extreme ideas about everyday life. Karp can fsck right off

how is it already September? 2025 seems to be moving at lightning speed compared to previous years😰💦
deviantART turning 25 years old is not something that ever crossed my mind 25 years ago. pure insanity

surely I cannot be the only person who finds it annoying af when Uber or Grab drivers are wearing headphones, and constantly chatting with someone rather than paying attention to the actual road they are allegedly safely navigating to get me to my destination without issue
Unsurprisingly SG tops the list again, w/JP & SK tied for 2nd. What I do find interesting is the US tied for 10th, falling behind UAE, and most of Europe. Ultimately, not a significant difference since US passports nets access to 182 countries vs SG's 193✈️

i understand all these tech youtubers reviewing new tech, endlessly explaining the specs ad nauseam. this does not provide any real value
give me feedback after exclusively using the product for 2-4 weeks. no spec walkthrough. just real world usage, and then how that compares to similar products

Not everything in the cyber threat intelligence industry is broken. But too much is warped just enough to matter.

Finding myself falling out of love with my Apple Watch. It no longer supports me, but competes for my attention. I want a beautifully crafted, Rolex-like analog watch honoring elegance and fine craftsmanship, while offering the fitness tracking of an Apple Watch. Surely someone is working on this🤔
Cyber threat intelligence has been captured by performance and profit. Defenders are waking up. The old model is collapsing. A new one is being built from the ground up.

This is not a pivot. This is a reckoning. We are coming for the core.
More soon.

Praeryx is not here to join the chorus. We are here to burn the broken parts to the ground and rebuild with clarity, with discipline, and with unwavering intent.
What rose was not a mere product. It was a presence. A force born of discontent, summoned to confront the arrogance of the present, and disrupt the rhythm numbing the edge of innovation. The epoch of change is no longer on the horizon. It has already begun.
Praeryx did not begin with a pitch deck or a roadmap. It began as a whisper, buried beneath noise and indifference, sharpened over time through silence and scrutiny. Forged through quiet conviction and tempered by fire, it emerged from forgotten paths where few dare to tread.
The company is called Praeryx. The mission is real. What we are solving has been hiding in plain sight. It is the blind spot quietly weakening defenders while vendors continue to flood the market with noise and theater.
I believe in the Praeryx mission so deeply that I walked away from certainty and took the leap. Into the unknown. Into the fire. Bootstrapping an idea and a philosophy the market does not just need, but instinctively knows is long overdue.
But a new kind of startup, born from deep frustration, sharp purpose, and outright rejection of the stagnant loop this industry cannot seem to escape. CTI has become theater. Innovation has been replaced by mimicry.
