Always thought it was a little deceptive that Goku is holding Nyoi Bo, but he doesn't actually use it in-game.

Additionally, the smaller portraits in this press release also features new sprites for Cammy, Akuma and Gouken.

It's a little weird that they'd make Cammy's larger portrait based upon her Zero/Alpha design and the smaller one based upon her SFV design.

This movie sounds terrible, but what's interesting me about this press release is that it features some new sprites.

Dan, Don, Cammy, & Joe (!) have sprites in the same style as the pixel portraits players can use to customize their "Here comes a new challenger!" screens.

The Cutting Room Floor, who discovered these unused Mephisto sprites, notes that they’re probably miscolored. So for this post , I recolored them with some of the reds found in Mephisto’s MSH vs. SF palette.

Rogue's sprites from X-Men vs. Street Fighter were recolored for her appearance in Marvel vs. Capcom 2.

Capcom never stated why this change was made, but it may be based upon the green and white costume she wore when she first joined the X-Men.

More notably, they also talk about Toriyama, Dragon Ball and his experience working on video games like DQ and CT. They also list the games based upon his works. It's an interesting time capsule; they literally source a couple Dragon Ball fan sites from 1996!

Update on my pixel art guide for beginners:

Transferred all the information from Tumblr to a Google Doc, so anyone who doesn't have a Tumblr account can now read through the whole thing!
I also updated quite a bit of information too.
I hope it will help somebody!
