Great to visit Menorca again, although did not see too much of it. Went here as kids from 1972, but last time I visited was 42 years ago! The Rapidplay with the World Champion and 5 other top GM's was also played in the same room.

Spent the last week ticking off a bucket list item by playing abroad. 9 games in 6 days in the Menorca Open, with 5 wins, 2 losses, and 2 draws. Played a couple of decent games and pleased with the experience.

Top 6 boards from Devon vs Hampshire County match from 1948/49 season.

I have been adding oldish Southampton Chess League results to the website, but have now picked up on the County Season, with the 1948/49 added. After winning the SCCU Hampshire the previous year, could Hampshire repeat this success?

After badgering Tony for several years he has sent me his Correspondence Chess games for the website, these include several which were published in BCM. Tony had great success in the time before computers became dominant in correspondence chess.

Position from the Moses Kawuma - Ieuan Ward game from 2008.

When I ran the HCA website I had a games page, where players sent me their games. I felt bad that these are no longer available, as the HCA website changed webmasters. I am starting to add some and the first game is a 2008 one by FM Moses Kawuma.
