I keep applying to Vancouver FanExpo but I haven't been able to get in (they let their artists rebook, so you have to hope someone drops out in order to get in essentially). And I do love a good 'CAF show, but I don't know if I could make my flight & hotel back on comics alone! Maybe one day tho!

If you like puzzle/escape room games mixed with a bit of mystery and roguelike/lite shenanigans, I would heartily recommend Blue Prince to you. I just had an amazing run, got a lot of synergies going, and man, it was a grand ol' time.

Spent the morning feeding a flock of my favourite feathered friends. They were ravenous, if you can say that about chickadees. Had 4 on my hand at once several times. Froze my poor fingers off, 100% worth it

I've been trying to post more art that I've been working on to Instagram, but keep forgetting to cross-post it here. I don't think I'll post ALL of it, bc that's annoying if you follow me on both platforms, but I'm gonna try to remember to post a few here and there.

Also, again, for no reason at all, I've been using Clip Studio Paint and Moho to do some animation lately and they're great. There's a learning curve, of course, but that's true of all animation software.

FYI for no particular reason, but if you're subscribed to a certain art software and want to get out of it without a penalty, just switch to a different type of subscription with them - this will trigger their "trial period" options for the new plan, which will allow you to cancel for free.

Made parathas from scratch tonight! It was a lot of work, as most breads are, but I do enjoy mucking about with food. Paired those suckers with some ready-to-go microwave curries though, bc heck if I'm also making those from scratch on the same night, lol
