I spent a while making rope brushes a couple years ago and in the end I actually only use one of the brushes I made. Occasionally people ask how I get the effect I do, so here u go.

1. block in rope shape
2. add texture w/ brush
3. maybe add stroke to base layer

She asked me to go full speed so i went FULL speed
