Caitlin Nicole Kinnery is a catgirl. Her first name gets shortened to Cat a lot.
Also, I think, Cat N. Kinnery sounds like "Cat and canary." I started with the jokes and reverse engineered the names.
Melody Fayth is more obvious, with creative spelling on the last name.

And "Monty" definitely fits the character better for me than "Morty". I think the 'n' feels like it rolls with things and misdirects, where the 'r' would more bristle and hold its ground.
I just wanted a long(er) name that could also be shortened, and that more or less applies to the whole cast.
Mortavious was an option but then he'd be Morty? So, Montavious it is!
Same with picking his other names-- Thaddeus, Augustus, Octavian, Ambrosius, Strother... James β(Β΄βο½)β etc
Still appreciate your insights on visually designing a heavily scarred character. You did a great job with Kakon!

I haven't really done anything with miis since the Wii. Sounds like they've got a lot more personality/autonomy now!
