The School of Engineering is supporting a study led by PhD researcher Victoria Ivanova, under the supervision of Prof Naomi Harte, exploring how people communicate in different conditions.
The study takes about an hour, and participants will receive a €15 One4All voucher.
Eligibility
• 18+
• Native English speakers who grew up in Ireland
• Normal hearing
• Normal or corrected‑to‑normal vision
You will watch short cartoons and retell the story. You may hear background noise at times. Audio and video recording will take place, and small arm sensors will be used. The study has full ethical approval and is based in Stack B, a short walk from campus.
